Three years is a long time—long enough for people to witness countless changes in life. For BTS, they have naturally evolved as individuals, and their music has grown and transformed as well. Yet there is one thing they have never forgotten: the original purpose behind making music—to tell their honest stories. Stories in which other people can see reflections of themselves, feel understood and empathized with, and, most importantly, find healing.
Fans around the world have shared countless stories about how BTS' music has changed their lives in very different ways. A 31-year-old woman from South кσяєα said she was able to overcome depression thanks to Spring Day, explaining that the song's lyrics seemed to perfectly capture her heart and emotions. Esther Yau (20) shared that The Truth Untold and Answer: Love Myself taught her to love herself and overcome her insecurities about her appearance. Meanwhile, Naoko Yabuki Tan said Lost gave her hope when she felt ℓσѕт during her teenage years, while Isabelle Chan (31) said Anpanman inspired her to believe that anyone can become a hero without possessing extraordinary powers.

Most recently, another story has further reinforced just how profoundly BTS has touched—and even saved—the lives of so many people. This time, the person sharing her experience was not an ordinary fan, but Jung Hye-kyung, a renowned stylist who has worked alongside and remained close friends with actress Ko So-young for more than 30 years.
On July 21, 2026, a short clip taken from the YouTube video titled "Ko So-young's Day Out Away From the Kids Thanks to Park Hyo-shin" υиєχρє¢тє∂ly went viral across social media. After attending Park Hyo-shin's performance, Ko So-young, her longtime stylist Jung Hye-kyung, and their younger friend Lauren stopped by a restaurant to enjoy a meal and chat.

During the conversation, Ko So-young looked at Jung Hye-kyung and remarked with a smile, "She talks about BTS every single day. She's a true ARMY." The actress went on to say that she deeply admired Jung Hye-kyung's resilience, explaining that even after undergoing major surgery, she had never complained or fallen into despair, always maintaining a bright and optimistic attitude.
However, Jung Hye-kyung's response was far more heartfelt than anyone expected. "If it weren't for Jungkook, I think I would have fallen into depression and become seriously ill." Her words were far more than a simple confession of admiration for her favorite artist. They were an honest admission that Jungkook had become the emotional anchor who helped her endure one of the most difficult periods of her life.
Hearing this, Ko So-young immediately revealed another detail about her friend's everyday life. "Her house is covered with posters." Jung Hye-kyung burst into laughter and replied, "My nieces and nephews know how much I like him, so they keep bringing me all the posters." Sitting beside them, Lauren nodded in agreement and added, "That's such a healthy hobby." The image of a home filled with Jungkook's posters further illustrated that Jung Hye-kyung's love for BTS extends far beyond words.

Interestingly, Jung Hye-kyung isn't the only devoted ARMY in the group. Actress Ko So-young and her daughter are also longtime BTS fans. This past April, actor Jang Dong-gun even accompanied his wife and daughter to BTS' concert in Goyang. After the show, Ko So-young uploaded a photo with Jungkook and V on Instagram, captioning it: "World Clαѕѕ is really different, just as expected."

After the clip went viral, countless netizens expressed how deeply moved they were by Jung Hye-kyung's heartfelt confession. Once again, the story served as a reminder that BTS' music and presence can become an immense source of emotional strength for people during the most difficult chapters of their lives. Fans commented:
