Yet, what fans imagine differs from how the members actually live. During a chat with Epik High, RM and SUGA caught everyone off guard by pointing out the group's biggest emotional anchor.
The conversation kicked off with a mix of lighthearted humor, intriguing revelations, and thoughtful discussions about music, life, and friendship. For instance, when asked about their time at a songwriting camp in Los Angeles, RM recalled a hilarious late-night clash: "We fought. We were drinking, and I said 'Let's tidy up the place,' then Jimin said 'Hyung, shouldn't you not talk to Taehyung like that?'—and that's how it started." Beyond the laughs, both BTS and Epik High opened up about distributing their profits equally, with the BTS members candidly acknowledging their massive earnings.

RM brought this up by pointing out how SUGA often views Jimin as his ultimate "emotional support teddy bear," jokingly adding, "Every time after dance practice, he’d ask Jimin, ‘Want to go to the sauna together?’”
Continuing the discussion, SUGA shared that during their time in Los Angeles, he had a very enjoyable experience largely thanks to Jimin’s presence. When Tablo asked whether Jimin was the person he was closest to, SUGA answered honestly: “When Jimin was having a really hard time, I kind of pulled him out of it because he was digging himself deeper.” He also admitted that he sometimes goes through similar struggles himself, and that the two of them have always been there for each other.
When Tablo concluded, “So he was the friend you leaned on mentally?”, SUGA nodded in agreement: “Yes, we’d stick together.”

Coincidentally, j-hope also emphasized that Jimin’s presence helped him recover during their time in the U.S. He melted fans’ hearts with affectionate words about the younger member: “Jiminie is so funny. Really, he’s so funny. Park Jimin is my laugh button. When I’m having a hard time or am so tired, I just poke Jimin’s body and he makes me laugh.”
