If you are a fan of artists under HYBE — more specifically BIGHIT MUSIC — then you are probably familiar with Lee Hyun, one of the label’s veteran artists who has been with the company for nearly as long as BTS themselves. The singer is known for his emotional ballad vocals and has made his mark through numerous famous OSTs and beloved soundtrack songs in South кσяєα.

Before TXT or CORTIS debuted, BigHit’s two main artists were essentially Lee Hyun and BTS, which is why they maintained a close brotherly relationship for many years. In particular, Lee Hyun is also one of BTS’s senior artists most loved by ARMYs because he has always openly praised and defended BTS in the media without hesitation.

On a previous television program, Lee Hyun once drew attention with his humorous but straightforward comment about BTS’s success: “If I was in BTS, I'd ask my agency to get me a throne.” The singer also did not hold back his admiration for his juniors in another interview: “BTS did it all. Recently, Lee Hyun once again caught ARMYs’ attention after mentioning one BTS member during an interview with Namaste Kpop. During the interview, the singer was asked: “Who is the most hard-working K-pop artist you have ever met?” Although he answered carefully to avoid controversy, Lee Hyun ultimately gave a shout-out to Jimin. “This is really my personal opinion because I love every artist...” he said with a laugh before continuing, “...but I think it’s Jimin.”

Lee Hyun then explained why Jimin impressed him the most: “Because he asked me the most questions, and for each and every stage, he tries to make a lot of new attempts. So, I would cautiously say that Jimin comes to my mind.”

Notably, Lee Hyun is not the only person who has recently expressed deep admiration for Jimin’s work ethic. Many HYBE staff members — people who have accompanied him since his trainee days, through his idol career, and now as a global superstar — have previously shared highly impressive comments about the idol’s dedication and discipline.

One HYBE T&D staff member once shared: “There are so many trainees out there, but I personally think Jimin-ssi from BTS is the absolute best of the best.” She also revealed that Jimin was the type of person who pushed himself in practice to the point of being almost harsh on himself while paying extraordinary attention to even the smallest details.

Meanwhile, HYBE T&D head Shin Seon Jeong also recalled a story about Jimin that left a lasting impression on her when he first joined the label. Because of his contemporary dance background, Jimin naturally had a smooth and fluid dancing style. However, as a K-pop idol, he needed to adjust those movements to become sharper and more powerful. What ѕнσ¢кed her the most was how much he improved after only one month of feedback — and much of that came from his relentless practice.

“What left a deep impression on me was that since Jimin-ssi came from a contemporary dance background, he had already formed a habit of dancing very smoothly. However, when doing choreography as a pop artist, there are certain dances that require a lot of sharp, impactful power, so those were the habits he needed to fix. When we held the monthly evaluation after he received that feedback, I was genuinely ѕнσ¢кed by how much he had improved. I remember thinking to myself how incredibly hard he must have practiced, and it's an anecdote that I still deeply admire and remember to this day,” she shared.

Behind Jimin’s stage glory and global fame are thousands of hours of practice and an astonishing level of discipline — qualities that have deeply impressed and continuously earned praise from the people who have worked with him for years. Lee Hyun’s recent remarks only further reinforced the admirable character that defines Jimin, leaving fans endlessly proud:
