Business Research Institute Just Revealed May 2022 Boy Group Brand Value Rangkings

The ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾an Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups! The first place makes us surprising with their several consecutive months on top.

To list the rankings of Kpop group brand value, Business Research Institute conducted an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups. They analyzed big data measured from April 7 through May 7, 2022. Check the top 10 of the rankings below:

10. Stray Kids

Stray Kids ranked at 10th place in the rankings, maintaining one more week in the top 10. The group’s total score came out to 1,809,042 for the month. This month, Stray Kids also recorded a participation index of 246,943, a media index of 772,678, a communication index of 343,497, and a community index of 445,925.

09. ASTRO

Founded in 2016, ASTRO emerged with an attractive performance style and eye-catching visuals that have attracted a lot of attention from fans. With outstanding achievements and quality music products, ASTRO is increasingly steady in building its image as well as developing its career. This month, the brand reputation ranking of ASTRO ranked at 09th place.

08. TXT

This month witness the rising of TXT at 8th place. They achive this rank with 2,043,801 points in total. 

07. The Boys

THE BOYZ took 7th place on this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 2,049,625. Besides, the group has a participation index of 149,125, a media index of 519,375, a communication index of 235,727, and a community index of 1,145,125. 

06. EXO

This month, EXO maintains their reputation value in top 10, especially, at 6th place. They got 2,109,586 points in total. 

05. Monsta X

2,175,610 points in total helps Monsta X rank at 5th place. It shows how prominent and popular this group is. Their members also prove their talent and charm through their individual activities.

04. Seventeen

In 4th place, Seventeen brand gets the participation index of 428,605, media index is 516,655, communication index is 701,792, community index is 730,937 and the analyzed reputation index is 2,377,989. 

03. NCT

NCT still keeps their group brand value with high position. This month, they topped at 3rd place with 2,570,840 points. 

02. Big Bang

The comeback with a new single helped Big Bang rise to No. 2 on the chart. This shows that Big Bang's brand value is well maintained even after a long time of inactivity and many ups and downs. This month they get 5,004,703 points. 

01. BTS

BTS topped the list for the consecutive months with overwhelming 11,573,221 brand value points for May 2022. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “comeback” “GRAMMY,” and “fan club” while their highest-ranking related terms included “achieve,” “recapture,” and “album” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of more percent positive reactions.

BTS's group brand reputation index continues to outperform other groups in the chart. With many community activities and entertainment products launched in the next June, BTS's group brand reputation is expected to grow even more.
