BTS and вιg нιт Music Management Company have been working together for over a decade. And in the future, their commercial contract is still valid until 2026 and that is the 2nd time the group has renewed their contract with вιg нιт Music.

For many groups, re-signing usually doesn't last that long, but вιg нιт Music and BTS have shown effective working and respect for each other through the two signings. The next 3 years are not long but not short for many things to change and fans are asking themselves whether BTS will renew their contract with вιg нιт Music for the third time in their career.

The contract issue between BTS and the management company is an important issue, not only for the artist or the company but also for the fans and affects many other fields. Therefore, Bang PD recently gave his opinion on the future of BTS and the company:

As the media and fans who are interested in music, especially K-pop know, artists have to occasionally renew their contracts to include them in a certain band in order to continue performing. Many groups have some members not renewing while some members stay, there are also cases where all members don't renew and it leads to the whole group moving to a new agency or even disband.

Naturally, this happens to most groups and BTS is no exception. However, at the present time, BTS is still a special case when it has extended group activities for more than a decade and only recently had solo activities of the members due to the problem of m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ enlistment.

Along with that, BTS has twice signed a contract with the management company вιg нιт Music and each time has a term of up to 7 years. It is known that the first contract period of BTS with вιg нιт Music is from June 13, 2013 to the end of June 13, 2020 (7 years). But the group decided to re-sign the contract with the company in October 2018, which is 2 years earlier than the contract expiration date, and this contract has another 7 year term until 2026.

This also means that when BTS is discharged from the army again, they will have to deal with the issue of whether to renew their contract with вιg нιт Music or not. In response to the public's curiosity about whether BTS will continue to work with the support of вιg нιт Music after being discharged from the army, in the question-answering session in the framework of Kwanghun Forum, he talked about the future of BTS under his management.

He said, "The renewal of their contract also has a big social impact so it's hard for me to tell you. In the case of BTS, the contract renewal period has been announced and the term of the contract is still valid. In the meantime, we will discuss more about it (contract renewal)."

From Bang Shi Hyuk's reaction at the Kwanghun Forum, many fans expressed confusion about BTS's seemingly dark future.

Earlier, Bang PD also released an uncertain statement about whether BTS will have group activities with full members in 2025 like previous statements. He mentioned: "We hope that not only us but the members also can be active again around 2025. However, 2025 is not the year we aim for", "BTS cannot promise to continue their activities as a full group in 2025, but we hope" and "Because of this, we cannot promise full group activities in 2025. However, it was the promise of all of us. We will actively try to complete it on both sides, not just promise randomly.”

But all fans hope that the group will eventually return to give their best and continue to bring their amazing talent to the ma̾s̾ses in the future:

- Group like BTS, I don't know if there will be another like it. Anyway, the boys are of good wood, in a group or alone they will always succeed since they always show the best of them and are dedicated to their Armys

- as sorry as it may be, for the good I have towards them, I will accept whatever happens. The most important thing is that they are peaceful, healthy and happy, and I will be happy for them. These guys have done so much for us, sometimes I think they don't imagine how much.
