ARMYs Move To Weverse After The News That Twitter Is To Be Acquired By Elon Musk

Not only BTS, but it seems that ARMY is now also influential in the business deals of the tycoons. Following news of Elon Musk's Twitter acquisition, ARMYs seem to be showing signs that they may be saying goodbye to Twitter.

First of all, Elon Musk is a South African-Canadian American businessman, investor and business magnate who is expected to acquire Twitter, Inc. for $44 billion.

Elon Musk is also the Founder, CEO and Chief Engineer at SpaceX; early stage investor, CEO and Product Architect of Tesla, Inc; founder of The Boring Company; and co-founded Neuralink and OpenAI. So he has a reputation as a successful CEO but also has some problems.

Although it seems that this transfer has nothing to do with ARMY, some people have found some information to believe that he can pose a threat to stans on Twitter.

Therefore, BTS - ARMY stans quickly found another way to work together in case Twitter was transferred to Elon Musk's hands. That is using Weverse.

Weverse is a Korean platform founded in 2018 by HYBE. This app specializes in artist-to-fan communication for musicians, especially K-Pop, and hosts multimedia content. In fact, there are even many fan accounts on Twitter dedicated to Weverse updates as Weverse is not yet widely used.

However, following the recent report of Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter, ARMYs are rethinking Weverse and taking a different direction. Besides, BTS members have also switched from Twitter to Weverse and Instagram.

However, the story turns out to be more difficult than imagined. ARMYs are having a hard time getting used to the Weverse platform. This is similar to when BTS first started using Instagram.

Thankfully, some ARMYs well versed in Weverse went out of their way to help and offer advice and words of wisdom.

Although, some just have straight jokes…

And, of course, there are others who are not so welcoming.

Chaos surely ensued with Twitter ARMYs flooding to Weverse. So, many low-key hilarious posts resulted that are 100% meme material.

However, many people realize that ARMYs do not necessarily have to focus too much on one platform because they can spread activities across many different platforms. Be it ARMY Twitter, Weverse ARMY, Instagram ARMY, TikTok ARMY, Facebook ARMY, Amino ARMY and even WhatsApp ARMY…

Although, ARMY is gradually turning to other platforms to not be too dependent on Twitter in case Elon Musk has inappropriate changes to the user experience. However, many ARMYs have not been able to leave Twitter home completely until now.
