ARMYs Defend Jungkook When He Is Accused Of Plagiarizing Taylor Swift's Song

As one of the most notable artists at the moment, Jungkook's solo album not only satisfies listeners with his unique and diverse music style but also dazzles him with a series of great achievements. But before fans could enjoy this joy, Jungkook was caught up in some accusations of plagiarism, causing fans to speak up to defend him.

In particular, one of them is that his song "Yes or No" was accused of plagiarizing a popular song by female singer Taylor Swift. The video comparing the similarities between the two songs has had millions of views and spread on SNS in recent hours. Besides, there are so many defamations and absurd accusations surrounding Jungkook that fans cannot stand by.

Below is what ARMYs have pointed out to prove that the plagiarism accusation is baseless and untrue:

On the 3rd of this month, Jungkook released his first solo album titled GOLDEN with the title song Standing Next to You. As expected, a quality album along with the "unique" influence of BTS's youngest member, GOLDEN, has helped him set a series of new records since his debut.

After BTS's Proof, GOLDEN is the album with the second biggest debut of a K-Pop artist with 42,754,939 streams on the Spotify counter. Jungkook also became the highest-ranking Asian solo artist on the Spotify Global Artist chart (ranked 4th). All tracks in the album also showed their appeal in the US when they all successfully debuted on the Spotify US chart.

However, before ARMYs could celebrate GOLDEN's great achievements, Jungkook and a new song on the album were caught up in accusations of plagiarism - a very sensitive but common issue. every time an idol releases a new song. Specifically, a video quickly spread with the caption that: "No wonder i’ve heard that flow before". In it, the video combines two pieces of music from Jungkook's song "Yes or No" and Taylor Swift's "Daylight".

It means pointing out that Jungkook's song has a melody similar to Taylor Swift's song, or in other words, they accuse Jungkook of plagiarizing the female superstar's music. Not only that, but toxic individuals also defamed Jungkook and said that Swift should prepare to sue Jungkook and Bł₲ Ⱨł₮ Music for copying the ḧïẗ song without her permission.

At first, fans felt quite surprised by this video, but later, ARMYs spread word of mouth to protect Jungkook in this context because in reality, there was no real evidence presented. It's just the listener's feeling. Some also pointed out that Ed Sheeran is a close friend of Taylor Swift and also composed the song "Yes or No" for Jungkook, so it's hard to imagine a case where Ed Sheeran plagiarized his best friend's music.

ARMYs also request netizens to stop making unreasonable accusations about Jungkook or defaming him because even Jungkook is not the author of the song. Additionally, if they suspect "Yes or No" of plagiarism, send their doubts to Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran - who recently shared it on his own Instagram Story to get answers:

- it don’t even sound the same they’re just obsessed. like they literally were streaming his album in order to find this

- Ed Sheeren wrote the song and it’s very obvious bc it sounds just like any of his original songs not Taylors

- Them barking as if she's gonna sue him just cuz of some song that sounds similar.

- It's a very typical POP SONG, and bcuz they are so used to that, they can tell some similarities... And literally, just English songs always like this,We need that yt shorts guy that comparing songs for this..They'll be used to it but we aren't,for us it just sounds JK.

- that part of the song reminded me of her song too but i don't think there's a connection, it just sounds similar

- Lol the jealousy!!

- I made the mistake of reading some comments under this post and omg the rac1sm! It’s insane

- Another day, another stampede of irrelevant trying to make up rumours and ride on the waves of bts

- They should focus on their favorite why always in our business chutiye saale

- Ever since the success of SEVEN all the Western fandoms have started this hate train on Jungkook first we used to argue with Kpop fandoms but now the blatant xenophobia and ŕäċïṩṃ from western fandoms is unbelievable it just shows how insecure and jealous they are

- you guys need to stop forcing a hate train on jungkook because in what world are these two songs similar? y’all are really acting crazy

- They tuned in for the main pop boy to know his flows... Don't even know what midnight sounds like. Talk more of the new one

- Well just tell them Thanks for streaming

- I think their hate on scooter is one of the reasons they’re pushing these issues. But Atleast they listened and streamed GOLDEN.

- I don't even see the similarities the both songs are so different. are the swifties mad or soмєтнing?

Meanwhile, Jungkook is currently on a media tour to promote his first solo album in the US. He will appear on NBC's famous talk show 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' and 'Today Show' NBC's 'CitiConcert Series'!
