ARMYs Angered That Jungkook Wasn't Credited For Multiple Songs On KOMCA And Music Platforms

After the CD tracklist on the Proof album was released, several related controversies occurred. One of the most interesting stories among them is the fact that ARMY found out that Jungkook's name does not appear in some songs on KOMCA even though he participated in composing.

Specifically, ARMY found the difference between the credits in the new album and the KOMCA credits for the song "No More Dream". In the new tracklist that HYBE released, Jungkook's name is next to the names of other producers.

However, in the credits on KOMCA of No More Dream, Jungkook is not credited. This makes fans uncomfortable when they are the same composer but Jungkook is not in it.

Many ARMYs also expressed disappointment when the company did not respect Jungkook's songwriting copyright. They assumed that because Jungkook was only 15 years old when No More Dream was released, the company didn't care about his rights.

To express their disapproval, ARMYs trended the hashtag, #bighitrespectjungkook, to remind HYBE of the incident.

Additionally, it has also been discovered that Jungkook had a major role in the production of the song "Jamais Vu", as mentioned by the other members. The track was released in 2019 from the album "Map of the Soul: Persona" but Bighit has not provided any official credit for this contribution by Jungkook.

Besides the lack of credits in the music industry, ARMY also mentioned Big Hit's use of his artistic creation without any credits. Specifically, Jungkook once drew Bang PD-nim with a few simple lines. This design was later used by Bang Si Hyuk as his official logo for a bakery he founded, without providing credit or copyright fee to Jungkook.

This was even mentioned later by BTS in a Livestream video with fans.

Meanwhile, some people believe that the name in the credits or the image copyright belongs to Jungkook. So he and the company as well as BTS may have had many agreements that do not need to be made public regarding this matter.
