Flight attendants are the ones who have the highest chance of meeting famous K-pop superstars because of their frequent travel schedules. In particular, with BTS, in a year they have many events and schedules abroad, so it is not surprising that there are often stories the flight attendants tell about their experiences interacting with the members in real life. 

However, there is an unspoken rule among ARMYs that flight attendants do not bother members on their flights. But there are some cases where ARMYs did not know about this rule and violated it. Especially the case of Jimin in the story recounted below. Although he was disturbed on the plane, his reaction was really unexpected.

Jimin's actions showed his good character, making others respect and admire him:

Specifically, a former flight attendant Kim Ha Kyung said she has met many idols, from EXO, BIGBANG to Girls' Generation and BTS over the past 10 years. Although all of those idols had polite behavior, there was an incident when she served on a flight with Jimin that she would never forget.

The former flight attendant explained that all crew members were overwhelmed by Jimin's visual. She then went on to talk about a situation that she thought best revealed his wonderful personality. She said there was a colleague on the plane who was a long-time ARMY and she was also older than most of the crew as well as the young ARMYs today. Naturally, she was excited to meet her idol, Jimin.

But Kim Ha Kyung also explained that most ARMYs keep one important promise when meeting members at workplace: pretend you don't know them. This can help maintain a natural and comfortable space for superstars when they are in public and does not make members feel uncomfortable because of being disturbed. However, that older colleague didn't know about this rule and was so excited when he saw Jimin that he asked him, "Can we take a photo?".

Kim Ha Gyeong said that most other artists when were asked such a request will refuse and will not show any further incentives. In this situation, Jimin also has the right to refuse the flight attendant's request and does not need to explain any further. However, he acted differently from the rest. When Jimin learned that the flight attendant was his fan, he tried his best to give her the best treatment.

Kim Ha Gyeong witnessed Jimin apologizing to the flight attendant "in a very cute way" even though he didn't have to. He even made an offer that could not be more precious and showed his humility and kindness. Jimin said, "I'm sorry. Can I give you an autograph instead?”. She also revealed that she has not met so many thoughtful "super-celebs". "In that sense," she said, "I think BTS's Jimin has the best personality. I think that’s why he’s so loved and became the best idol in the world". Obviously, Jimin can act like any other star because that's his right but he still tries his best to comfort his fans showing how much he appreciates them.
