Actor Kim Ji Hoon Unveils He's A Long-Time ARMY & Shows His Crazy Love For A BTS Member

For fans of кσяєαn dramas, it is impossible not to know Kim Ji Hoon. The films αѕѕociated with his name include Flower of Evil (2020), Kyeolhonui yeoshi (2013) and Jang Bo Ri Is Here (2014) and most recently, he impressed with Death's Game (2023), Ballerina (2023), "The Haunted Palace" (2025)...

With his signature long hair and masculine angular face, the actor born in 1981 was once dubbed the 'crown prince of weekend dramas'.

In particular, Kim Ji Hoon also revealed that he was a former trainee of SM Entertainment before pursuing an acting career. Therefore, he was recently invited by TXT Soobin to participate in the Pixid show, "Your Favorite's Favorites," to present about K-pop in general.

The show is a space where celebrities introduce their favorite things, from food items to other celebrities in the industry.

While the actor was talking about some aspects of the entertainment industry, he started talking about BTS - the 21st century pop icon - a milestone moment in the K-pop industry, showing that he is a big fan of them.

While talking about BTS, Soobin also asked Kim Ji Hoon to share about his bias in the group and surprisingly, he immediately called out Jungkook. Not only that, he also made some "heartfelt" comments about the group's youngest member's solo career.

Specifically, he expressed that he was quite disappointed at the time when GOLDEN and Standing Next To You were released. He explained that it was an extremely successful song and Jungkook would have easily had the opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl if he had not been restricted by his military service.

"For me, 100% Jungkook, he's just so good. Personally, what I find so frustrating is Standing Next To You. He teamed up with Usher and absolutely crushed it, but he enlisted in the military then. If he hadn't gone to the military, then I swear, he could've done the Super Bowl halftime show", he said.

He also continued: "That's what I really regret, seriously. when that song dropped "Woah, ∂αми, from the very first solo stage it was so sleek, so good and the choreo was bam-bam-bam, нιт after нιт.. this song is just mαѕѕive".

When this statement appeared on the internet, fans were impressed by the veteran actor's warm affection for BTS in general and his recognition of Jungkook's talent, praising him immensely in particular.

They also shared similar sentiments about Jungkook's time promoting his solo album but also noted that there are only 27 days left until he returns for more great projects in the future:

- for real jungkook wasnt fully able to promote his first full album. he was robbed of big opportunities and was constantly rushing bcos of the enlistment

- Everyone and their mamas know how big of an opportunity was wasted because of his early enlistment

- Oh he loves him because only true jk lover would say soмєтнing like this

- It's one of my biggest regrets too, it was so big opportunity for him and standing next to you is truly another level . More than seven, all are great but snty is greatest of all from every aspect

- Bro, everyone who loves jungkook shares the same sentiment with you. So, thank you for speaking on behalf of us, Hybe is watching in shamelessness.

- Don't remind me of this please. This whole superbowl thing is sooo нєαятвяєαкιиg

- Any normal person would feel this way but you got some mfs here talking about how super bowl doesn't matter

- Jihoon said truth yeah JK and usher in super bowl would be Historic. But because of this military service he couldn't. I hope JK get more and much bigger opportunities like this, Manifestation
