Recently, a mother whose son enlisted in the same training center as Jin visited her son and overheard Jin's story. She was very emotional and even proud to hear people talk about him.

On December 13, 2022, Jin officially joined the 5th Division recruit training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province (Korea). This is the training center of the front-line division, 60km north of Seoul. This is one of the harshest areas in Korea, sometimes the temperature drops to -20 degrees Celsius.

Jin is reported to be receiving basic training for 6 weeks and then being deployed to his main unit. Currently, Jin has undergone 1 month of training in this unit and he has been doing very well in his duties these days.

Even in the recently posted photos, Jin became the “commander of trainees” of 200 other soldiers in his unit. This proves Jin's hard work, effort and humility as he did well and tried 200% to fulfill his military service.
