A Girl Sparks Outrage For Invading And Leaking Jungkook's New House

The disclosure of BTS members' home addresses, especially Jungkook's, is not a new issue. Although the idol himself has spoken out, asking fans to stop invading his privacy, there are still people who disregard his request.

Recently, a woman sparked controversy when she visited Jungkook's new home. Not stopping there, she also shared images of it on social media.

Fans are currently very upset about this situation and are trying to prevent the images from spreading further:

When you become a "public figure," it means that, in some aspects, you belong to the public—not just your family and friends anymore. However, that does not mean the audience and fans have the right to do anything, including invading a celebrity’s privacy or negatively affecting their personal life.

Over the years, BTS's management company and members have enacted laws to punish individuals whose actions violate their privacy and well-being. However, such incidents continue to occur. BTS members still face stalking from obsessive fans and anti-fans wherever they go.

The most typical example is Jungkook, who has repeatedly been harassed at his home—even while serving in the military. Recently, ARMYs were outraged after discovering that a woman had shared pictures of his new house on social media. She went to Jungkook's house, loitered around, and took pictures in front of the gate.

This woman also noted the house's address in Itaewon, where Jungkook moved at the end of last year. During a surprise live broadcast at the time, Jungkook, who is currently serving in the military, shared that he had relocated while on leave.

In the same broadcast, Jungkook expressed his hope that fans would not disturb his new life. He stated: "I moved to a new house, so it would be great if no one came looking for it... Also, regarding the deliveries (gifts) you guys leave—I'm really thankful, but I can't accept them... A lot of deliveries are also being sent to the military base, but I can't receive those either. If you really want to send me something, you can send a letter to the company."

Previously, Jungkook had to deal with obsessive fans who frequently sent food and packages to his old apartment. He was also followed by stalkers from home to the gym, restaurants, and his workplace. Due to these constant disturbances, Jungkook had to move to a new house as soon as it was completed, even while serving in the military.

The recent incident of a woman trespassing and exposing his new home in Itaewon has once again sparked outrage among fans. ARMYs are now reporting the woman's information and social media accounts to Big Hit, hoping the company will take legal action. Meanwhile, fans are urging others not to spread pictures of Jungkook's house:

- ARMYs, let's show our love for Jungkook in a way that respects his privacy. He deserves to feel safe and comfortable in his own home. Let's avoid going to his house or trying to take pictures of him.

- ARMYs, let's show Jungkook that we can love responsibly. Let's avoid going to his home or taking pictures without his permission. True fans enjoy his art, support his career, and respect his personal life. Let's show genuine love and respect.

- This is a private residence, not a tourist spot. Please respect Jungkook's privacy and understand the importance of boundaries as a fan. Encouraging this behavior only enables others to do the same. Please report the said IG account: stillwithu_jungkook

- Oh god what nonsense…. You want to say how he saved your life…. Respect his request and post on weverse. shame on them who keep going against his words… I wish he will take it in his next live and burn it without opening it ! It would may finally get the message across!

- People said love him... But this not love him, make even worse. If love him, pls protect him even the small things.

- If you care about JK you won't expose him like this. Let's respect him and protect his privacy.

- They really don't understand the talk. This is a residential house, not a tourist place.

Meanwhile, Jungkook's new house in Itaewon was purchased in December 2020 for 7.63 billion won. After the purchase, he demolished the original house, and in 2021, he received approval from the district office to construct a new home with two basement levels and three floors above ground. This area includes Samsung Family Town, where the late Samsung Group Chairman Lee Kun Hee lived, as well as the residences of prominent figures such as SK Group’s Chey Tae Won, Nongshim’s Shin Dong Won, and Shinsegae Group’s Lee Myung Hee.
