Perhaps not many ARMYs know that Amber and V have been best friends for many years now. They even started their friendship right after the group debuted and Amber is one of the artists who have always supported V and BTS from the very beginning. She ever told about the story of meeting V and BTS that: "During the early phase of BTS and V, we met often due to a program, so we became friends."

Coming here, many people will probably remember a moment in 2016 during KCON LA, when the lovely V ran towards Amber at the encore stage to greet her. That year, V and Amber were even rumored to have a romantic relationship after that moment.

But Amber is known for her outspokenness and she immediately retorted that they were merely friends. She even expressed that other people's negative opinions can never affect their friendship and they don't care about such gossip.

She used to say: "I was just playing around with V. At that moment we wanted to say, ‘We are just friends, so why do we have to be wary about what others think about?’"

Not only that, Amber has revealed that she is so close to V that she considers him like a little brother. She once shared: "Well V is my little brother, so you know, that’s going on."

Amber also said that she was always happy with V and that their friendship just started naturally. She revealed that V and she have been friends for so long that they are comfortable together. Just like the sibling relationship, both Amber and V are who they really are when they hang out together. In their friendship, there is a lot of fun with them and every outing is a relaxing time for the two sisters.

However, in this year's role, Amber stated that they weren't able to hang out much due to V's busy schedule and Amber couldn't find the time. In return, they met by playing video games together and she said that V is a very good gamer.

She even told a funny story about V trying to teach her how to play Overwatch. She thought she was a good gamer from the beginning after V's instruction but it turned out that V was just playing a prank on her and he changed the game settings to easy mode so she competed with the computer.
