Will BTS Return to Peru After the Recent Chaos? The Members’ Response Draws Attention

BTS’s visit to Peru was particularly meaningful, marking the first time all seven members had appeared together to meet fans in the country in 13 years since the group’s debut. However, a series of negative incidents unfolded as soon as BTS arrived in Lima, including crowds making noise around their hotel, obstructing the idols’ vehicles and disrupting nearby traffic, and even shining lasers and flying drones toward the hotel windows. More concerningly, despite RM speaking up twice to address the issue, the situation did not come to an end.

Many local fans are worried that the unpleasant experience caused by the crowds could affect BTS’s decision to return to Lima in the future. Although they sympathize with genuine Peruvian ARMYs, many international fans hope BTS will not have to return to the country. Some are even concerned that the incidents in Peru could affect the entire South αмєяι¢αn leg of the tour, while others speculate that BTS may not return given the concerns surrounding the members’ safety, health, and well-being.

Surprisingly, BTS gave fans a clear answer to these concerns through their remarks amid the situation!

First, Jin impressed everyone with his wit by turning his closing speech at the final concert into one of his iconic wordplay games. Inspired by the alpaca hat he had worn, the idol invited the members to help him complete an acrostic using the word “ALPACA”.

Jin came up with a series of sweet messages: “Al: I love you guys!”, “PA: Forever,” and “CA: Darling!” in Spanish. He then ended his speech with a thank-you and a particularly noteworthy farewell: “Thank you, thank you. See you soon! Bye bye.”

Next came Jungkook, who also delivered an emotional speech and could not hide his happiness as he reflected on the three days of performances. He said he had expected the energy and enthusiasm of the Peruvian au∂ιєnce to be amazing, but the fans still managed to surprise BTS by cheering even more pαѕѕionately than they had anticipated.

And so, Jungkook affirmed, “I won't forget these precious memories of these three days, and I will live on well moving forward. Thank you so much, we will return! Thank you, I love you,” while expressing his gratitude and love to the audience.

Finally, RM shared that he was disappointed he had not had the chance to visit Machu Picchu, but meeting Peruvian ARMYs had made the trip worthwhile. He also tactfully asked the fans, “When we meet again, you'll gift us plenty of smiles, right?” before firmly declaring, “We will definitely come back one day. I love you, Peru! Thank you!”

After all the chaos caused by inconsiderate crowds, the love and respect shown by genuine Peruvian ARMYs at least helped salvage BTS’s experience. The members’ promises to return have therefore made local ARMYs even more emotional. Although it remains unclear when BTS will return to Peru, the members have shown that these unfortunate incidents cannot erase the affection and appreciation they have for their sincere fans in the country.

Fans could not help but express their emotions over the way BTS comforted them: "They're really SWEETIE!!!!", "They genuinely loved the place and they don't reduce the actions of a very small group of weirdos to a whole country. Bravo BTS", "BTS comforting ARMY even when they’re the ones who went through so much", "RM making sure genuine Peruvian ARMYs don’t feel blamed… my heart can’t take this", "They ending with ‘See you soon’. They really knows how to make us emotional", "That’s BTS for you", "BTS knows there are so many genuine fans who love and respect them",...
