It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that the relationship between idols and fans is almost love. However, it is difficult to say that fans and idols are true "lovers".

Over the years, ARMYs have always searched for phrases to express their relationship with BTS. There are many ways to talk about the close connection between the group and the fandom but the nouns remained vague until Jungkook shared his thoughts on this.

After what fans were looking for, Jungkook's answer made them overwhelmed and excited:

From the 8th member of the group to the best friend....group leader RM or V has given ARMY the companion position as friends for more than a decade. And of course, we're also happy with this position alongside our members, even though many may wish for a more "romantic" relationship.

But it seems that unlike the way BTS members think about the relationship between themselves and their fans, Jungkook has a different thought of this issue. ARMYs are considered the second half of his life as he often has live broadcast time all night long to chat, watch movies, and drink beer with them. Even when he couldn't sleep, he confessed that he needed ARMY's help to sleep well.

In a previous live broadcast, he even wanted to be "closer" to his fans by suggesting how they greet each other when they meet randomly. He said they could freely greet each other like "What's up bro?". Well, for Jungkook, there is no gap between fans and idols! Jungkook's deep intimacy touched ARMY, but they just thought that ARMY is Jungkook's soulmate!

However, he didn't want ARMYs to stop there and fascinated his fans, making them live in the happiest and sweetest feeling while sharing his true thoughts about their relationship. In a video during the “'Golden' Live on Stage” showcase, it recorded Jungkook's reaction when asking fans how they would describe their relationship with him. ARMYs answered that they were close friends.

Right after that, Jungkook countered that their relationship was more special than usual. He was clearly dissatisfied with ARMY's response when he received one from them. His face and expression showed how disappointing it was that ARMY thought he was like a friend to them. He even asked again: "Friends?".

Next, he held back his disappointment and made a comment that really shook ARMY. Wow, he really knows how to arouse our fascination! Jungkook thought ARMY's answer was okay, but he had a better answer: "I like friend but...Not that...Okay. This word can encompαѕѕ many things. That’s right. Love. Love comes to mind first. I love you!".

You heard right, he made the most romantic statement for us: "I love you". Jungkook's affirmation of ARMYs' place in his heart has made fans officially living in a sweet dream:
