BTS has lived together in the same dorm for more than 10 years, even before debut. They moved dorms together 4 times from when they were trainees until they became world superstars. However, in 2020, when the high-end dormitory contract at Hannam The Hill expired, they agreed to live separately.
Many fans know that BTS members owned their own apartments many years ago, but it was not until the end of 2020 that BTS members actually lived alone in their own apartments. During a live broadcast of BTS Dinner, BTS members shared that each member shows off their unique style and taste in decorating their own apartments.
This got fans excited and they even revealed some reviews of the members' apartments. Some of the apartments are decorated very elaborately by the members like j-hope or RM's house, but others choose a minimalist, sophisticated decoration. Case in point is Jungkook - whom SUGA described as the most "celebrity-like" ḳöŕệän he's ever met and added, "His lifestyle is so cool".
Most of the members were especially impressed when they saw the interior and decoration of Jungkook's house because it was truly "unique" and "extraordinary". Jin said that Jungkook went from not owning a single pillow to owning five. RM also exposed Jungkook by claiming that he saw 20 diffusers at Jungkook's house and that j-hope saw laundry displayed like a work of art!
Jungkook's living space is clearly like himself: unique! But fans still didn't really have an idea of what Jungkook's apartment looked like until he revealed his apartment's decoration in a mini vlog. It was shown at his showcase held on November 20 in Seoul.
Through the initial moments in the video, fans realized it was actually a very, very minimalist apartment. It's like what SUGA said, it really doesn't look like the apartment of a global superstar. There isn't much furniture in the house and are just items he finds necessary such as a refrigerator, sofa, gaming chair, air purifier, clothes basket, a large clothes rack... in the living room.
But fans also spotted two helmets for motorbike riders on the sofa. Apparently, Jungkook seems to really like riding motorbikes since he got his driver's license in September. Meanwhile, a hat is said to be for Mingyu or some members of BTS or 97-line when they went with him. That makes fans feel even more excited.
