Specifically, there was a time when BTS was about to debut, V felt very difficult and could not imagine the future which made him want to give up. He even intended to escape from the members to return home and not be an idol anymore.

At that time, the person he thought of to talk about this decision was his father. He just cried and called his father. He recalled, "Being a trainee was so hard that I called him and cried. So I told him I wanted to quit."

After that, V's dad's reaction is truly a piece of history. He comforted his son by saying, "If it’s too hard, you can quit. There are lots of other jobs. Let’s look for one together." And when he heard these words from his father, V suddenly felt ashamed because he did not have confidence. He thought back, "I felt embarrαssed that I said that in the first place. As time pαssed, those words touched me".

V's father really has a very good response when he always listens to his son's pain and calmly solves it. If some parents often force their children to accomplish this goal or criticize their children for not trying, V's father is not only angry and forced but also comforts him. V later revealed that his father had told him he could think and if he really wanted to, he could give up his artistic career.

V's father did not even let his son fall into a bad situation, but reαssured him that he would find a way with him in the future. But not only V's own motivation, V's father is even the motivation for BTS. RM shared that one of their motivational slogans came from V's father!
