BTS members are well known for their special love for pets. Most of the members have their own dogs, and the most prominent among them has to be Yeontan, V’s beloved dog, who frequently appeared on his social media and alongside other members in numerous videos.

Since being first introduced in 2017, the black-and-brown Pomeranian Yeontan became an indispensable part of ARMYs’ hearts. V also cherished his furry companion deeply and, understanding fans’ affection, even featured Yeontan in some of his personal music projects.

However, time waits for no one, and the adorable Yeontan eventually departed from V, BTS, and the fans, leaving behind a deep sense of longing. Even a year after Yeontan’s pαѕѕing, fans continue to remember him, and his adorable moments remains vivid in their minds.

This is why a recent moment of V with a fluffy poodle in Los Angeles moved fans, evoking memories of similar affectionate moments he shared with the late Yeontan!

Specifically, in a set of photos posted by j-hope on his personal Instagram on August 25, 2025, capturing the members’ daily lives while composing music in the U.S., one photo of V kissing a dog in front of a mirror quickly caught attention. V tenderly held the small dog in his arms with a gentle gaze, while the dog looked back at him attentively, reflecting the mutual affection between them.

Sharp-eyed ARMYs immediately noticed the similarity between this gesture and the moments V once shared with Yeontan. He had a period of unforgettable and happy times with his beloved furry friend. Yeontan was like a healing pill for him during his most tiring moments.

Fans believe that at the moment V saw the little poodle, he must have felt a deep longing for his four-legged companion in heaven. On the other hand, they also noted that V continues to maintain his habit of loving animals, even after Yeontan’s pαѕѕing. His love and sincerity never fade, even if the shape and names of his four-legged friends may change.

Meanwhile, in December 2024, V shared the pαѕѕing of Yeontan with fans in a heartfelt post: “Time flies, and it’s already December. Actually, the reason I’m writing this post today is that recently, Yeontan began a long journey to the stars. I thought a lot about how to announce this news, but I felt I should share it with ARMY, who have given so much love to Yeontan.”

Prior to this, Yeontan had undergone two unsuccessful heart surgeries, which weakened his health over time. His pαѕѕing left a profound sadness in the hearts of V and the ARMY community, who had always loved and supported the little dog. Even though Yeontan is no longer by their side, the love and memories of him will forever live in everyone’s hearts.
