A few hours ago, V suddenly visited ARMYs in the middle of the night on Weverse Live (KST). Not only that, but he also spends a short time before bed to chat with fans when they miss him.

V shared some of his life habits in recent days. In particular, there was a moment when V explained why he hasn't taken selcas a lot lately and also revealed that he will rarely do so in the future.

Although V's announcement regretted many ARMYs, he made a great alternative to posting his selfies. And it seems all ARMYs agree with that:

For Kpop fans, they seem to be no stranger to the phrase selca αѕѕociated with idols. Selca is the ḳöŕệän term for selfies. Selca is a shortened version of two words – selfie & camera – combined together. Similar to the definition of a selfie, selca also means taking a photo of a person with the intention of posting it on a social network.

When it comes to selcas, ḳöŕệän idols are definitely experts. Their poses, angles, lighting, and filters all make their photos look unbelievably perfect. BTS members are no exception.

They regularly post lots of selfies on social media for their fans who are all over the world. Every time a BTS member posts a selca, fans go crazy and go viral on social media within hours.

Especially in it, V is one of the most famous members of BTS with selca photos. His selca usually seems to go viral on social media whenever he posts it because V knows how to drive fans crazy with his visuals.

From 4 AM selfies to topless selcas, V is sure to create surprises and selfie masterpieces for his fans. You will probably never forget pictures like these...

However, lately V doesn't appear much with selfies anymore compared to the time when he first opened his personal Instagram account. He usually only posts studio photos or shots of what's happening around him and that makes fans remember his legendary selcas.

During the most recent live broadcast, V seems to have given the reason for this. He chatted with fans at 2am (KST) and before he went to sleep because many ARMYs commented on Weverse that they missed him.

V saw fans' comments so even though he was sleepy, he came to see them. In particular, V also explained that in the future he will often do this instead of taking selcas. He also expressed that although he was able to do it better than others in the past, he now seems to have a hard time taking a good photo and he worries that ARMYs will be disappointed by it.

V made a statement and asked ARMYs to understand his decision: "ARMYs~ if you guys say you miss me on Weverse, I’ll come on live often. If I can do lives instead of posting selcas, let me do this. I used to be so good at taking selcas. Better than anyone else. Back in the day I used to be able to take selcas easily like this *angles*... ARMYs might think it's a bummer...These days I don't take many...so I thought I'll take live broadcast like this."

After V's statement, ARMYs seemed to be heartbroken because he would always be handsome and perfect in the eyes of ARMYs just by uploading a photo. He really doesn't need to worry that they'll be disappointed because they never feel the same when they see him.

But since V made that decision, everyone respects his decision. And just seeing him is great, whether it's posting a selca or playing Weverse Live:
