The members of BTS have been doing music together for a decade. More than the journey of creating success together, the members have bonded and developed together in creating impressive works of art. Even when they do solo activities, they always help each other to improve.
For example, V's upcoming solo "Layover", he has received a lot of support from the members, in which, especially Jungkook. When participating in the program...V suddenly revealed how Jungkook's contribution helped him complete his solo album.
Below is V's process of creating Layover with enthusiastic help from Golden Maknae as he recounts:
V is preparing to release his first solo album, Layover, on September 8. Previously, ARMYs were kicked off their excitement with two official music videos from the record, “Love Me Again” and "Rainy Days". Expectations surrounding the rest of the song are at an all-time high.
Not only that, it made fans even more excited when V continuously revealed the secrets behind the scenes of creating his first solo album in the shows he participated in. Most recently, on September 6, KST, V appeared as a guest on the popular variety show You Quiz on the Block and talked a lot about his new album.
When the host asked if he had shared his songs with the members, V replied that not all members get to hear his songs in advance due to their busy schedules. But 2 of the members V first shared his album are j-hope and Jungkook. That always makes ARMYs the most jealous!
BTS members always get early access to the rest of the members' songs before they release solo products to fans. And V is no exception!
Talking about their reactions, V said the members felt the music was a great fit for his feelings. He told MC Yoo Jae Suk about the two members' reactions: "[They said] “It’s so fresh. I’m so happy you found music that suits you perfectly.”
Next, V also talked about Jungkook's surprising participation in this album. He revealed that he recorded some of the album's songs at Jungkook's house and that it was the maknae who advised him during the process of perfecting these songs.
But that's not all, previously when Jungkook released his first solo single "Seven", he also mentioned in an interview that he and V often send each other new songs right after recording. It shows how well the members of BTS, especially V and Jungkook, work together and are great supports in the process of creating iconic songs.
In a sense, Layover is the unique collaboration of the two youngest members of BTS!
