Well, we always talk a lot about fans needing to know where their limits are. However, there are still many fans who go beyond their limits and sometimes have inappropriate words that make BTS members feel uncomfortable.
One of the cases that makes ARMYs remember forever is probably when V αccídєntally came across a post with rude comments about him. The sad thing is that V read those words from his own fans. But fortunately, V was not negatively affected by it and he even had a harsh response to make that fan ashamed for his actions.
Below is the situation that happened and it really is a life lesson for other fans:
Communication between fans and idols is really important. It helps both have understandings about each other and also the close bond between them. And so V always uses his excellent communication sk̾i̾l̾l ̾s to become closer to his fans.
From live broadcasts to chat with his fans to comments on Weverse posts, he knows how to stir up an atmosphere of intimacy with his fans. But aside from that, V is also very good at making his fans aware of what to do or not to do in their relationship.
V is also considered as one of the most down-to-earth among K-pop idols because his candid words help clarify the relationship between idols and fans and the boundaries between them. Besides, he also knows how to remove the extreme thoughts of his fans to create a healthy, genuine, and natural relationship.
This will help ARMY avoid unnecessary ȟɥȑț or be negatively affected when fanning someone. Instead of making excuses for making fans expect or fantasize about further things in the relationship of friendship and support between idols and fans, V always shows sincere and realistic feelings, avoiding the imagination going too far.
One of them is correcting erroneous thoughts in a strict but friendly way possible. V has done this many times with a few fans and the story below is one of them.
Specifically, the incident started when a Weverse user uploaded a photo of V's concept photo for MAP OF THE SOUL: 7. This person edited V's photos into a few different styles like a blood-splattered priest transforming into a black swan or dark angel.
The post was posted with the caption: “Our Priest ㅠㅠㅜ,”
Of course, with this editing ability, the article caught V's attention and he responded to it in an interesting way. He replied that: “Is something like this possible to do..?” and “It seems like I really won’t have to wear costumes for photoshoots.”
However, this user seems to misunderstand the meaning of V's statement by imagining beyond what is real. This person replied with a comment that: "If you don’t wear it.. I’ll be thankful.. but isn’t it better to wear [clothes]..?"
Then, V had to interrupt this fan's bold thought. He seriously said that: “Excuse me, [fan’s username] what are you thinking about? I meant not wearing costumes, but I’d still be wearing my regular clothes. What are you thankful for..You’re funny ㅋㅋ [laughing sounds]"
But the boldness doesn't stop there as this fan bluntly replied, “I thought oppa wouldn’t be wearing any clothes,”. And this makes V feel the need to end the day what this person imagined. But his attitude was not too harsh and even used a pun to reply.
V said: “How about you take out the first and the last letters of your nickname,” he also wrote. “your thoughts are crazy.” [The fan’s username was Nangwangja (난광자). If you were to remove the beginning and ending of the name, you’d be left with gwang (광), meaning “crazy”]
Of course, this reaction of V made other ARMYs admire his intelligence. Most of all, many people think that directly teasing V naked is the fault of the other fan. The way she mentioned it was gross and this person should stop thinking that way.
Besides this situation, V also once had a clever way of reminding fans who always spam weird comments under the comments section of Weverse Live during a live broadcast. Thanks to this frankness of V, his or other members' broadcasts have reduced the situation of encountering negative or rude comments significantly.
