It has been a year since all the members of BTS officially completed their military service, and only now do they seem truly able to sit down comfortably and happily talk about the stories from that period. Although it was far from an easy time for them, fortunately they made it through, and now they can finally look back on those experiences as amusing memories. During the latest livestream featuring j-hope, V, Jimin, and RM, fans were treated to a series of military anecdotes that were both genuine and hilarious.

Several “you-can’t-make-this-up” moments quickly went viral across social media: from RM giving younger sol∂ιєrs money to buy snacks only for them to purchase so much that they broke the POS machine — leading to him being summoned by the commander for questioning — to Jimin and Jungkook going to church simply for free bread, only to end up getting dragged into a group singing and dancing session. Another moment that had both the members and fans laughing to tears was when Jimin described Jungkook’s sleepy reaction after being woken up for night duty, shouting: “Hyung, what the h3ck are we even doing here?”

Alongside those stories, V also contributed one of his own unforgettable memories from his early days doing night guard duty in the military. What made it even funnier was that he directly reenacted the entire scene like a comedy skit, keeping both the members and ARMYs laughing nonstop.

According to V, he had been αѕѕigned to the second night shift and was supposed to receive the security pαѕѕword from the sol∂ιєr on the previous shift. However, what confused him was that the sol∂ιєr simply went to sleep without telling him anything. Thinking there must not have been any special pαѕѕword that night, V continued standing guard as usual until an officer suddenly appeared to inspect him.

The idol then vividly began roleplaying the officer live on the broadcast, seriously reading out the pαѕѕword: “Chris.” He immediately broke character to explain to j-hope: “I thought the pαѕѕcode was Christmas Season,” before reenacting how he responded to the officer back then: “Mas!” The members instantly burst into laughter, clapping excitedly.

But that wasn’t all. V continued acting as the officer, perfectly portraying the man freezing in confusion before asking what on earth he was talking about. Completely unaware of what was going on, V said he even replied to the officer: “Isn’t it Christmas Season?” because hearing the word “Chris” immediately made him think of… Christmas. Even V himself burst into laughter while retelling the story, amused by how clueless he had been at the time.

He went on to imitate the officer’s exhausted expression as the man let out a helpless sigh and asked whether the previous sol∂ιєr had actually explained the pαѕѕword system to him. In the end, the officer had no choice but to directly explain the procedure and repeat the correct pαѕѕword before walking away — bringing V’s unforgettable first military “incident” to an end.
