V Makes An Unexpectedly “NSFW” Appearance At The French Protests

ARMYs seem to be no stranger to the fact that the image of BTS is often used in some protests with positive connotations. Especially RM's face and name when he was even campaigned to become president.

Most recently, another member who was quickly listed as a candidate is V. Many French people have caught the attention of using an iconic slogan including his name in the contest. recent protests.

ARMYs are currently spreading these images and are sure that soon it will be in the newspapers about how people are using V as a symbol in protest:

On March 23, hundreds of thousands of people were ready to go on strike and join protests in ̾f̾r̾a̾n̾c̾e ̾ after President Emmanuel Macron announced that he would continue to reform pensions. The protest caused chaos throughout the capital when 10,000 tons of garbage were not collected due to a strike, the capital of Paris smelled. Fires and cl@shes broke out during a protest against pension reform in ̾f̾r̾a̾n̾c̾e ̾.

These protests, created against a bill to raise the retirement age to 64 years old by two years, were unpopular, fueled anger that escalated across ̾f̾r̾a̾n̾c̾e ̾, and drew large numbers of participants. huge in protests, strikes organized by unions since January this year. Labor unions in ̾f̾r̾a̾n̾c̾e ̾ said that the 9th national strike on March 23 attracts a "huge" number of participants.

President Macron received an angry response from unions and opposition parties on March 22, when he rejected their call to heed the growing anger of the population. Most of the protests have been peaceful, but anger has grown since the French government pushed the bill through the country's parliament without a vote last week.

Although the protest seemed to have turned serious, ARMYs still discovered what seems to be the funniest thing about this protest. It was a photo that went viral in which a French citizen was holding a banner with a slogan expressing their opposition to the government.

It would be normal if the slogan didn't include a mention of Taehyung, V's real name, as an option for the French presidency. The text on the banner is translated as "If we had wanted to be ḟüċḳed, we would have elected Kim Taehyung (as president)".

This made ARMYs burst out laughing because of the locals' love for V and the way they used Taehyung as a symbol of the protest. Many ARMYs have left comments after seeing these impressive slogans:

- Just wait.. Tomorrow it will be in so many news sites

- Now you know French people actually are fun and creative

- Thats creative

- Gladlyyy, soo realll !!!!!

- that’s the french ambαѕѕador right there

- they're so real

- I mean they’re not wrong

- THEY ARE NOT JOKING HAHAHAHAH

- i mean it makes sense

- I am crying y'all some funniest bunch of people

- Nothing but truth!!

- omg that's amazing

Besides V's prominent appearance, many ARMYs also discovered that even Set Me Free pt.2 - Jimin's newly released song was also used as a way to propagate opposition to the new bill.  A video about French protests going around these days uses this song to make it impressive:

More than ever, this shows just how popular the BTS members have become around the world. But the locals also know how to use the image and name of BTS in a positive and equally humorous way.

This reminds many people that there were many previous demonstrations that used RM as an iconic image. For example, slogan like "The planet is hotter than Kim Namjoon" or edited photos to lobby RM to become the president of a new kingdom or even run for president of вrαzíl. It's actually very funny even in stressful situations!
