Just hours ago, not only the ARMY fandom but seemingly the entire world was shaken by the return of the “21st-century pop icons.” Without the need for an official press conference, BTS instantly dominated global headlines with just a 30-minute live broadcast on Weverse featuring all seven members in the same frame—marking their long-awaited reunion and revealing plans for a comeback that captivated nearly 10 million fans and media outlets worldwide.
This marks the group’s first live appearance and greeting to the public since the last five members completed their mandatory military service in mid-June. The entire music industry seemed to have been holding its breath, waiting for this moment ever since BTS announced a temporary hiatus three years ago to fulfill their enlistment duties.
Leader RM wasted no time and kicked off the livestream with a straight-to-the-point announcement: "Starting in July, we’ll be spending time together and focusing on music production. Our group album is set to be released in the spring of next year."
He added, "Naturally, beginning next spring, we’ll also be going on a world tour. We plan to visit various places around the world, so please look forward to it."
RM also shared a heartfelt message with fans: “We’ll be communicating as much as we can through Weverse Live and social media, so if you can give us just a little time, we’ll show you everything, all at once.”
In a particularly lighthearted moment during the reunion livestream, while the members were chatting excitedly about reuniting and getting back into the rhythm of idol life, V suddenly dropped a major hint: "And did you tell them about us working in the States?" - one the group clearly hadn’t planned to reveal in this stream.
The υиєχρє¢тє∂ comment seemed to catch the members off guard, freezing them in place as an awkward silence fell over the broadcast. Jimin quickly tried to smooth over the moment by saying nonsense like "Delicious~ Wow" in an attempt to steer the conversation away.
However, it couldn't stop V from repeating this information again: "That's right. We're gonna work in the US".
Of course, it didn’t take long for fans to start buzzing online that BTS is moving to the U.S. to work on their upcoming album. Some ARMYs believe this mirrors the process behind their 2020 release "ON", suggesting the group may be holding a song camp in the States. Fans are also speculating potential collaborations with US/UK artists and producers for this highly anticipated comeback.
Though BTS fans chuckled at the members' flustered reaction to V’s little spoiler, they were also overjoyed—because let’s be honest, he just served them a delicious slice of cake:
- tae just casually spilling the beans to us. i like i like
- The spoilers are back the world is healing the sun is shining symphony is playing in the background
- not Tae spoiling stuff again, it's just like old times
- It’s just not Namjoon who spills the beans. Tae does it, too
- Taehyung really said “since no one’s talking, I’LL spill”. That awkward silence followed by chaos? Clαѕѕic BTS energy!
- They said they will be doing song camps in the US. It may also coincide with some of jin's tour dates, though not sure if that is true
- Taehyung spoiling everything left and right, WE ARE SO BACK
- I thought Rm give us some spoilers but Taehyung
- they said they’re gonna start working on the cb in the us but im not sure if its about the mvs the music or other things…
- I think that's what they meant maybe they'll do some collabs
- probs like they did for ON, to be able to work with producers and studios abroad
