There are only about 99 days left until V and the rest of BTS members are discharged from the military. Fans are looking forward to nothing more than the day the members reunite.
Meanwhile, V also took the opportunity to communicate with fans during his last months in the military. Notably, in his recent letter to fans, he mentioned his broken ribs, which made ARMYs heartbroken.

So ARMYs have experienced most of the time BTS members were absent due to military service. Since the middle of last year, Jin's return has restored fans' spirits. So far, ARMYs are enjoying happy days as Jin has released a solo album while j-hope has released a new song and is on his first world tour.
Not only that, in the final months of their military service, it seems that the members who are currently serving have more time to share with ARMYs. Especially V! He has been posting pictures of himself recently on Instagram, showing off his increasingly handsome appearance in his military uniform. He even recently set a record as the first Asian Act to have an Instagram post with over fourteen million likes in 2025 with his latest photos taken in Chuncheon.
Not stopping there, on the 3rd of this month, V wrote a letter on Weverse to his fans to share about his promotion as well as his recent condition. He began the letter with: "It snowed. We had a snowball fιgнт. I'm good at snowball fιgнтs. I became a sergeant, rank 2. Now I'm second here, soon to be first in the hierarchy. Recently, I became a special warrior. I worked out hard."
However, what caught the attention of fans was his mention of an injury during his military training. Specifically, V said that he had broken his ribs while training to become a "Special Warrior" in the unit. He shared: "While working hard, I once dislocated my rib, but I’m back now."
Upon reading V's revelation, fans flooded online communities and social media with their concerns. Fans also wished him a speedy recovery and congratulated him on his efforts being worth it:

Meanwhile, V also reαѕѕured fans in the latter part of the letter by telling about what he does these days: "I'm currently on a ∂ιєt, I weigh 70 kg. I read a lot of books. Ina noona gave me many books. She gave me too many, I can't read them all. Here, I don't have insomnia. I just pαѕѕ out when I lie down However I still can't get used to waking up in the morning. I miss army a lot, so I watch a lot of concert videos. I want to dance. I want to sing. My junior asked me to check out the Black Swan choreography, saying they learned it all. I don't know the choreography; I forgot it. These days, I'm watching Buried Hearts, Park Hyung-sik is cool. I also watched "I Live Alone" with Jung Hoseok. I'm a fan of Jung Hoseok.".
V also expressed regret for not being able to attend j-hope's concert in Seoul at the end of last month and the beginning of this month: "I'm really sad that I can't go to the concert; it's a chance to see army. Um, anyway, I miss you! I love you!"
On the other hand, V enlisted in December 2023 along with RM. He is currently serving in the Military Police Special Task Force (SDT), stationed in Chuncheon. V will be discharged on June 10 this year, amid the anticipation of global fans!
