V is one of the members who works hard to communicate with fans on social media. Especially since Weverse and Instagram were established, V has repeatedly answered fans' questions or sent them lovely messages and photos.

However, before these SNSs were available to communicate with fans, V repeatedly tried to "break into" the ARMYs community on different apps to interact with them. But of course, at that time, there were many misunderstandings that led ARMYs to believe that V was the one who impersonated himself.

Even, once, V was scolded for entering an ARMYs chatroom but not following the rules and he was also suspected of lying:

V is a person who loves his fans very much and he has always expressed his desire to interact with fans. Therefore, V used to play games, livestream or reply to fans' comments whenever he was free.

Most of all, before the fan platform - Weverse or the live-streaming apps started to become popular, V has always been looking for ways to reach his fans closest to him. One of the special ways that V used to be was to join ARMYs chat rooms to interact with them. But unfortunately, each time, V was unable to communicate smoothly with fans as planned, even being scolded for impersonating himself.

There is a very famous story that ARMYs that year deeply regretted. That's when V joined a chat room of ARMYs on Kakaotalk but no one noticed. Because it was already 3 am, many people in the chat group were no longer active. However, when a new member joined  the group, someone greeted him.

When most of the world was asleep, V was struggling to start a conversation in the chat room with ARMYs. But when he entered the chat room, he didn't realize that the chat room regulates visual communication and has some rules that he doesn't quite understand.

So, even though V was very excited, he was told from the start that he had to change his real name immediately if he didn't, they would kick him out of the room. And of course V's real name is Kim Taehyung but no one believes that this "Kim Taehyung" is Kim Taehyung - their idol. When he tried to explain this, everyone ignored him.

Not only that, V was also penalized for communicating via text message when the chatroom's rule was to only talk with pictures. Some even advised him to change his name ASAP before he gets kicked out of his room tomorrow morning for faking celebrity identities and being dishonest with other ARMYs.

V later apologized and tried his best to follow the rules, but it all only added to his confusion. To prove his identity (and avoid getting kicked out), V sent a voice message to the chat, promising to post the proof on Twitter:

But people still couldn't believe it was V so everyone told him that only if he used his real name and stopped lying would he stay in the chat room. Finally, after a while getting used to the room rules but still could not adapt and for some security reasons, V left the conversation. The active ARMYs in the chat room still don't realize it's their idol.

V even promised to come back after researching fan chat rooms, to avoid further breaking the rules in the future. And it wasn't until morning and a lot of people realized that they missed him last night that ARMYs regretted it. ARMYs couldn't help but marvel at how sweet V was and many wished they were in the room chatting with him at the time.

 But it looks like he's a lot more adept at using social media now and maybe if this story happened again it would look much better!
