Recently, кσяєαn media reported that V has officially surpαѕѕed 70 million followers on Instagram, marking the first record of its kind achieved by a кσяєαn male artist. This milestone was reached in less than five years since he opened his personal account in December 2021.
Previously, V had already entered the Guinness World Records after gaining 1 million followers in just 43 minutes following the launch of his account, and reaching 10 million followers in only 4 hours and 52 minutes. Last year, he was also ranked third on HypeAuditor’s list of the Top 1,000 Most Influential People Worldwide, as compiled by the influencer analytics company.
At 30 years old, V remains firmly established as one of the world’s leading K-pop superstars, with ever-expanding global recognition, an unprecedented career, and immense wealth. This is likely soмєтнing that V, as a 17-year-old rookie, could never have fully imagined at the time. Yet, not being able to imagine it did not mean he never dreamed of it. In fact, from the very early days of his debut, V consistently demonstrated that he was always aiming for soмєтнing greater.
In a video from his early debut days, V once said: “Someday I want to hold a small exhibition. Maybe when I'm in my 40s? In the far future. If I do, I think it'll be a very touching moment.”
And indeed, 13 years later, he has realized that dream with the opening of his offline exhibition “V TYPE 非 : ON-SITE IN SEOUL,” which officially launched on the 20th of this month. The exhibition is part of a series of promotional activities for his second art photobook, “TYPE 非,” which was released on the 19th and saw V directly involved in every stage of its production.
On his personal Instagram account—now newly surpαѕѕing 70 million followers—V acknowledged the milestone by writing “Type V,” accompanied by photos of the exhibition space and a moment capturing him signing his own portrait. It was reported that he visited his exhibition in person at 6:00 PM on opening day, where he also met fans who had come to attend.

At this point, it can be said that one of V’s dreams from his youth has been fulfilled—and not merely achieved, but realized with remarkable excellence!
The exhibition, embodying the core spirit of “TYPE 非,” deeply reflects a turning point in the artistic vision of “Artist V”: the rejection of fixity, the refusal of a single, linear identity, and the embrace of an ever-evolving state of existence. At the same time, the exhibition reveals multiple facets of V himself—some of which fans had never witnessed before—unfolding at a meaningful moment when he has just completed his military service and stands on the brink of returning with BTS in a new chapter of his career. Together, these elements convey a powerful message of rebirth and the awakening of true artistic potential.

Fans are not only celebrating the fact that V fulfilled a long-cherished dream well before turning 40, but are also deeply moved by the remarkable strides he has made on his journey of growth and artistic maturity, expressing:
