V Did This So Jimin Decided To Get 4 Extra Moon Tattoos On His Back

Jimin is two of the BTS members who own many tattoos. One of his latest tattoos spotted with the exception of number 7 is the moon tattoo on his back.

Recently, on Weverse Live, Jimin told the story of him getting these moon tattoos. And it's interesting that the person who suggested him to do it was V:

Today, Jimin visited Weverse Live for the first time and chatted with ARMYs for a while in a very happy mood. He appeared in a white shirt and lovely long curly hair.

Jimin and ARMYs talked about many interesting stories, including the story of tattoos. First, Jimin mentioned getting the number 7 tattoo on his finger. He tattooed the number 7 in that position so that ARMYs can see it every time he holds the mic. However, because the mic was too big, it covered the tattoo and so he decided to change to a slimmer mic.

Next, he mentioned the tattoo on his back. It's the moon phase tattoo that made ARMYs crazy in June after BTS returned to Korea from the White House.

Jimin said that the tattoo was originally just a crescent moon but then V saw an ARMYs fanart and sent it to Jimin with excitement that it was so pretty. Jimin said: "Taehyung sent this photo to me, saying 'Jiminie look at this' so 'wow its so pretty, its drawn so well' and.. I got a tattoo just like that.. I only had one but now I have 5 tattoos of a moon risen on my back"

Therefore, thanks to V's discovery, Jimin decided to get 4 more tattoos similar to that fanart and that was the birth of the moon cycle on his back. Turns out, the original tattoo wasn't the moon phase that Jimin added after being suggested by V and it's actually pretty.

The moon cycle tattoo is said to symbolize for cyclicality over time – an iterative cycle of life's endless recycling and rebirth. It affirms the life, it seems to be constantly changing but remains the same. It's like Jimin, constantly changing, renewing himself but always carrying his own uniqueness that never loses.

It really is a meaningful tattoo for Jimin as it is ARMY's work and suggested by V. Many ARMYs got excited after learning this:
