As all we know, Jungkook is currently one of the top Kpop idols and any news about him attracts attention on SNS. Most recently, Jungkook surprised fans when äṃệŕïċän news site Lainey Gossip posted photos of his daily life.

Amidst the controversy stirring up on SNS, an authentic video recording this moment was released a few hours ago. It quickly went viral on social networks when it showed the truth of the photos:
For Kpop artists, smoking is not an uncommon behavior once they reach adulthood. But because Jungkook is one of the most famous idols today and is "labelled" by many fans with the image of a good maknae, his smoking quickly became a topic of discussion.
This comes from a photo taken by famous news outlet BACKGRID while he was smoking outside a restaurant in Los Angeles on September 8. The site reported, three SUVs and two minibuses was asked to drive Jungkook and a large group of friends, with him to Matsuhisa, a famous restaurant where stars like Hailey Bieber are often seen and photographed by paparazzi.
In the photo, Jungkook was spotted with a cigarette in his hand. Although the photo clearly shows Jungkook's face, because it was taken at a distance, the cigarette in his hand is not seen too clearly, causing many people to suspect that the photo was edited.
There are many comments claiming that it is not a real photo of Jungkook left under the posts:

Since then, many people have become concerned about the authenticity of the photo. That is also the reason why a video recording the actual scene of Jungkook smoking was released later to prove that the photo was not edited.
The video clearly shows Jungkook smoking and even cigarette smoke is visible. It ends the existing controversy and also clearly shows that fans need to respect what Jungkook does instead of trying to deny it.
