Among Kpop fandoms, ARMY is considered an exemplary symbol of strength and cohesion. Thanks to this, ARMYs have built a strong fandom, fully supporting the advancement of BTS members' careers.
But of course, over the past decade, BTS and ARMY have also seen many of their fans leave for various reasons. One of them includes fans leaving because they loved other idols. So some fans are very curious about how BTS in general or Jungkook in particular feels about that.

BTS has been active for over a decade and there are many fans who have been with the group for all those years, but there are also many who have left. Loving an idol can last a long time, even forever. But sometimes, that interest can last for a while until that fan loves another idol more.

He said that: "You want to try other groups? Haha it's your freedom! But I don't care too much about that...I just work hard for those cheering me on! so I don't care too much about that~ Even like when people write hate comments I'm grateful because that means they have that time for me~ I'm thankful to them.
But of course I don't like them. I can not like them too right! Of course I don't like the people who write bad about me. just for those who cheer me on. I'm just going to work and live hard for you all! I am confident that I will not change like that. until my knees give up and my voice doesn't come out, until what I can do, and I receive so much strength from you guys so I will live hard! Anyway I'm always grateful!"
But that doesn't mean he doesn't value those who were his fans in the past. On a previous occasion, Jungkook expressed his special thoughts about the pa̾s̾sing of fans who supported him and BTS.
He knows that it's no surprise that fans come and leave and he has learned to accept such situations. He even had the courage to say goodbye to the fans who left the fandom: “There are some of you who may have already left. But I still want to thank you all no matter when you used to love us. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing all those moments with us.”
The reason Jungkook said that is because even after the fans left, they were still the people who gave him great support and accompanied him for a long time. At that time, they were still his fans and he appreciated what they did for him and the group. Jungkook did not force him but just wanted ARMY to be with BTS with sincere love.
He once said: “I’ll always stay here. Whenever ARMY wants to see me, you can come here anytime. Also when you have to leave or when you want to leave, you can leave at any time. Whenever you want. But as long as you remember this, I will always stay here”.
