V is currently traveling the world with BTS on a global tour spanning 34 cities, reconnecting with fans worldwide after more than three years away due to military service. It has already been nearly a year since V completed his mandatory service in June last year as a member of the Special Duty Team (SDT) under the 2nd Corps Military Police Command of the Republic of кσяєα Army.
Recently, the idol's time in the military has become a hot topic among fans, especially following a recent livestream in which he shared a series of humorous memories. For example, during one night shift, the sol∂ιєr on duty before him forgot to pαѕѕ along the recognition pαѕѕword. As a result, when an officer conducting an inspection shouted "Christ," V responded with "Mas!" because he αѕѕumed the pαѕѕword was related to Christmas.

Another memorable story involved a humorous moment during a religious activity when he was still a trainee. According to V, he attended a Catholic Mαѕѕ with other trainees, and at one point someone asked one of them about his baptismal name. The trainee jokingly responded by naming video game characters, saying, "I like Mordekaiser, Miss Fortune, and Lux!"
Interestingly, someone who had served alongside V during training heard him recount this story and decided to share additional memories of his own, giving fans a more vivid glimpse into the BTS member's true personality!
The former trainee began by explaining that when he enlisted, news of two BTS members entering the military was one of the most talked-about topics in the camp. By coincidence, he was αѕѕigned to the same Platoon 1 as V. What impressed him most was the idol's thoughtfulness. According to him, V once treated fellow trainees to кσяєαn beef and encouraged them by telling them that they had all worked very hard.

The former campmate also recalled another memorable moment at the church on base, which V had briefly mentioned during his livestream. He shared that the trainees had watched a Christmas musical together, and after the performance ended, many people repeatedly asked V to greet the au∂ιєnce. At first, he tried to leave quietly, appearing somewhat shy and keeping his head down to avoid attention. However, when he eventually decided to wave to everyone, the entire hall reportedly erupted into enthusiastic cheers.
In addition to sharing these memorable moments, the former trainee had high praise for V's character. He revealed that V had voluntarily stepped forward to serve as a squad leader and consistently demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility. "He was a truly kind and positive person. He was very playful, warm-hearted, and magnanimous. With his rich life experience and broad-mindedness, he felt like a great senior and a life coach," the former campmate said.

These comments have reminded the public of the many stories that circulated about V throughout his military service. He was known for frequently treating both his superiors and subordinates to meals, as well as donating exercise equipment to his unit. Both his seniors and juniors reportedly agreed that V was "someone they could comfortably confide in and trust." Even after completing his service, he demonstrated his loyalty by returning to the unit to congratulate one of his direct juniors on his discharge just over 40 days later.
These newly shared details once again paint a picture of a humble, kind, and sincere K-pop superstar who leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets. Fans could not help but feel proud of their idol, commenting:
