Now, even though BTS has enlisted, their influence is still great enough that President Yoon Seok Yul visited "BTS's unit". Here, the unit mentioned is the 5th Division - Yeoncheon Training Center where Jin, Jimin and Jungkook are serving as active soldíєrs.

However, President Yoon's visit immediately caused controversy, especially his statement to the soldíєrs. Even ARMYs expressed their reaction to the event:

Not only that, even though all the members have been in the army for many days, news about them still regularly appears in the newspapers. In particular, in recent hours, K-media reported that President Yoon Seok-yeol visited the 5th Infantry Division of the front-line army today. The news immediately attracted attention when this unit was called by ḳöŕệän media as "BTS's unit". 

Originally, the Army's 5th Infantry Division is called as "BTS's unit" because 3/7 members of BTS are serving in the barracks. While Jin enlisted here last December and is currently an a̾s̾sistant instructor, Jimin and Jungkook enlisted as rookies 2 weeks ago. The presence of 3 BTS members in division 5 has made this barracks famous these days.

In particular, since the ḳöŕệän President is said to have visited this unit because of BTS, it has received even more attention. But the problem started to arise when ḳöŕệän media quoted President Yoon's instructions to the soldíєrs in this unit on dealing with the war. He said during the visit: "If you are provok3d, respond immediately to retaliation and report later" and "North Korea is the only country in the world that stipulates invas1on and preemptive use of nucl3ar w3apons in the Constitution. They can make provocations at any time depending on their political purposes. Please immediately crush the will of the enemy on the spot."
 
In addition, President Yoon also dined with the soldíєrs and expressed his respect to the soldíєrs who have enlisted to serve the country. He stated: "The government will provide its utmost support to make our soldiers proud of their military service. We will take full care of welfare for raising soldiers' salaries, as well as pay increases for on-call service and allowances for officials serving on the front lines. I am here to meet you today as the commander-in-chief of the Korean Armed Forces to thank you".

After this news, a major controversy broke out on SNS largely due to dissatisfaction with his statements and recent scandal. Many netizens expressed that as the head of a country, the President should have a peaceful attitude, not incite w@r. Not only that, President Yoon's visit to "BTS's unit" is also said to have the purpose of attracting public opinion, which has paid a lot of attention to this unit because of the BTS members.

There are many comments left on online communities:

- he's NEVER been in a mil camp for 2 yrs? And rejected BTS exemption? Announced that it was a "a BTS Unit" to the world, saying provocative things to create further damage? Was he deliberately encouraging NK to focus on the 5th Div?
