ARMYs are probably familiar with the name Hirai Saya — the wife of veteran actor Shim Hyung Tak. Why? Because from the very first time the actor introduced her — then still his fiancée on the show “Same Bed, Different Dreams” — she quickly went viral across social media for her striking resemblance to Jungkook, especially during his early debut days. Many fans even gave her nicknames such as the “female version of Jungkook” or “Jungkook’s older sister.”

Interestingly, this topic became so popular that even Shim Hyung Tak, his wife, and Jungkook himself were aware of it. While the actor and his wife felt honored to be αѕѕociated with the BTS superstar, Jungkook appeared amused and reacted cheerfully whenever fans mentioned it.

After around two years of marriage, they welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Haru, in January 2025. Immediately, the couple’s firstborn became a hot topic on social media due to his striking appearance. Fans noticed that Haru inherited many features from Hirai Saya, making him resemble a young Jungkook, such as his big round eyes and cute mouth.

Even more surprisingly, because Hirai Saya is a huge Jungkook fan, the baby seems to have been influenced as well — even down to his hairstyle. The latest revelation about Haru related to Jungkook has left fans utterly charmed.

Specifically, in episode 12 of KBS2TV’s variety show Superman Returns, Shim Hyung Tak took his son Haru to a hair salon. There, the baby had his first-ever haircut, astonishing everyone with his thick hair despite being only nine months old.

Interestingly, before the haircut, Shim Hyung Tak told the hairstylist that Haru’s mother, Hirai Saya, wanted him to have an “idol hairstyle,” and the stylist enthusiastically agreed to give him a “BTS hairstyle.” The reference image of Jungkook’s hairstyle was even featured alongside Haru’s new haircut, showing an adorable resemblance.

But that’s not all — the little “mini Jungkook” Haru, sporting his new hairstyle, officially entered the entertainment world as a commercial model. Skincare brand ATOPALM signed contracts with Shim Hyung Tak’s wife, Saya Hirai, and their son, Haru, to serve as the new models for their laundry detergent and fabric softener products.

In the promotional photos, Haru looks so adorable it’s beyond words. Fans also praised the “Jungkook idol hairstyle” carefully chosen by his mother, saying it suits him perfectly, making him look handsome from such a young age — just like the idol himself.
