BTS, who made their comeback last month with their fifth studio album, officially kicked off their world tour in South кσяєα on April 9 at the Goyang Main Stadium. This marks the first time BTS has reunited with ARMYs around the world through a full-scale tour in seven years since the ¢σνι∂-19 pandemic.
The “Arirang” tour—considered the largest K-pop tour to date—begins in Goyang and will continue across continents, from נαραи to North αмєяι¢α, Europe, and South αмєяι¢α, with a total of 85 shows in 34 cities. Despite expanding its reach to more regions than ever and tripling the number of tickets available, BTS’s tour sold out within just 20 minutes during the first ticket release earlier this year.
Meanwhile, despite the rainy weather and low temperatures, ARMYs from all over the world gathered in Goyang early to await the opening show. The 50,000-seat stadium was completely filled, erupting in overwhelming excitement as fans reunited with all seven BTS members. In particular, the moment when fans from multiple countries sang along to “ARIRANG” during the finale of Body To Body created a deeply emotional scene that gave everyone goosebumps.
Of course, the scale and production of the concert were beyond question. However, another factor that ѕнσ¢кed fans just as much was the appearance of numerous famous idols and actors who came to support and watch BTS on the first night.
First to mention were the members of TXT, who arrived early. The group wore blue jackets featuring the “Swim” logo from the world tour merchandise, held ARMY Bombs, and cheered enthusiastically throughout the show. Their energetic reactions to BTS’s performances quickly went viral and received praise from fans.
Bang Chan, the leader of Stray Kids, was also spotted in the stands, openly showing that he has been a devoted ARMY for years.
Meanwhile, Jang Wonyoung of IVE surprised many with her appearance. A fan shared: “Wonyoung never attends anyone's concerts, but she showed up for BTS! Her concert look is pure fire—so fierce and stunning. Vicky is literally slaying. Finally, she’s out there supporting her industry peers!”, leaving ARMYs even more amazed.

In another section of the stands, Jongho of ATEEZ was captured continuously grooving to the music, clearly showing his excitement while enjoying the concert.
Singer Choi Yena, who previously collaborated with Jin on the solo track “Loser,” was also confirmed to be present as she posted a photo holding an ARMY Bomb in front of large screen showing Jin's moment at the concert on her personal Instagram.

Not only younger-generation idols, but today’s ARMY crowd also included a veteran idol—Lee Jin of the legendary group Fin.K.L. She uploaded a photo holding an ARMY Bomb at the concert on her social media with the simple caption “BTS.” Previously, on JTBC’s Camping Club in 2019, she revealed that she had become an ARMY while living in the U.S. and showed uncontrollable excitement toward BTS’s songs.

Another group of celebrities that caused a major buzz upon being spotted at the concert included actress Lee Sung-kyung, the cast of Dr. Romantic, and actor Kim Min-jae. Not only did they attend the show, but they also took photos backstage with some BTS members. It is known that Lee Sung Kyung is a close “noona BFF” of SUGA and had previously been invited by him to his solo concert before his military enlistment, while Kim Min Jae has been a close friend of V since the early days of his debut.

The presence of numerous high-profile stars—from new-generation idols to veteran artists and well-known actors—demonstrated BTS’s immense influence within the кσяєαn entertainment industry. With such a star-studded guest list on the very first night, many believe that the upcoming stops of the Arirang World Tour will bring even more surprises. On social media, fans continue to buzz with excitement over these moments, saying:
- They surely have a grand time at the show… so jealous I wish I could see BTS perform live
