While fans are enjoying the content prepared by BTS before enlisting such as BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star, the BTS members are currently working very hard in the barracks. Up to 5/7 members of BTS hold positions from platoon leader to instructor assistant.
When news of the members' songs climb to high positions on the charts, it is also the time when the members are diligently showing off their talents and roles as soldiers. In particular, rookies like Jimin and Jungkook are having a huge competition and they are certainly trying their best to achieve the best results.
Specifically, according to information shared from Yeoncheon Training Center, today's schedule ( Friday of January) for Jungkook and Jimin is Trainee Day Event. It is an event for trainees to have fun and strive to achieve attractive rewards, only available at 5th Division. They also provide a one-day (self-funded) reward (hotdog, beef brisket rice bowl, using food trucks such as cafes) and also buy food from outside.
Sports competitions, movie nights, division military band performances, talent shows, etc. are held. The winners of the sport competitions will get dining expenses while the winners of the talent show a vacation is provided.
Before that, when Jin joined the army, he became the captain and taught dancing to other recruits in his team. Finally, at the end of the competition, Jin's team won the talent competition and was rewarded with a precious day off.
