At the present time, all 7 BTS members have enlisted in the army and in 2025, BTS will return with all members. Their plan is considered bold but is also the best way for the group to reunite with their fans as soon as possible.

In the latest episode of BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star, SUGA mentioned that BTS could have enlisted earlier and could potentially return in 2023 according to the original plan if the COVID-19 epidemic did not break out.
He mentioned: "We would've taken a break from Novemeber 2020 if there hadn't been a pandem1c in the same year. We didn't expect the pandem1c to go on for so long. we were going to finish the ON tour, and I was supposed to enlist sometime in November of 2020. That was supposed to be the end."
It turns out that BTS was already ready to enlist in 2021, after finishing promoting the album Map Of The Soul: 7. If the enlistment plan was conducted, the group could have reunited within this last year. But of course, due to the actual situation ruining their plans, until 2022, the first member to enlist was Jin and it will be until 2025 that BTS could return with 7 members.
