SUGA Steals the Spotlight at Bruno Mars' Concert in the Most Unexpected Way

Although they have never officially collaborated on a song, BTS and Bruno Mars have shared quite a few interesting connections over the years. BTS—especially Jungkook—has long expressed his admiration for the αмєяι¢αn singer by covering many of Bruno's biggest нιтs during livestreams and variety shows. In 2020, after BTS performed a remix of "Finesse" on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden, Bruno Mars reposted the clip on X (formerly Twitter) with a short but friendly message: "Thanks Fellas."

In 2022, when Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak brought Silk Sonic to Las Vegas, RM, SUGA, and Jimin attended the concert in person. Afterwards, Bruno Mars personally shared a backstage photo with the three BTS members on Instagram, writing: "Thank you [BTS] for coming down to last night's gig in Las Vegas. Hope y'all enjoyed yourselves! Sincerely, Silk Sonic." A year later, during Bruno Mars' two concerts in South кσяєα, RM and V were also spotted by fans in the au∂ιєnce.

With that in mind, seeing SUGA at a Bruno Mars concert one day wouldn't really be surprising. This time, however, what delighted the internet was that SUGA somehow "appeared" in the concert in a way nobody could have expected—and even managed to steal the spotlight!

The amusing moment took place during one of the six Wembley Stadium (London) stops on Bruno Mars' The Romantic Tour. During the show, a giant LED screen invited concertgoers to scan a QR code and participate in The Romantic Dedications—a real-time interactive feature that displays selected photos and messages from fans throughout the venue.

While most attendees submitted romantic messages for Bruno Mars, their partners, or their friends, one ARMY decided to use the feature in the most BTS way possible. The fan uploaded a photo along with a simple message: "Yoongi marry me." The familiar marriage proposal directed at SUGA suddenly appeared above the mαѕѕive crowd, instantly turning Bruno Mars' romance-themed segment into a BTS fan moment.

Photos of the υиєχρє¢тє∂ message quickly spread across X, Threads, and other social media platforms. Many fans couldn't help but laugh after realizing that SUGA had somehow "stolen the show" at Bruno Mars' concert without even being there. Some ARMYs joked, "You can find Yoongi everywhere," while others laughed that even Bruno Mars probably never imagined his romantic segment would suddenly become a public marriage proposal to SUGA.

What made the moment even more meaningful was the location itself. Wembley Stadium holds a special place in BTS' history. In 2019, BTS became the first кσяєαn act to headline Wembley Stadium with two sold-out concerts. This year, BTS returned to London for their ARIRANG world tour, but instead of Wembley, they performed at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Even so, seven years after SUGA first stepped onto the Wembley stage, his name once again appeared on the stadium's giant screen.

The υиєχρє¢тє∂ moment quickly sparked lively discussions among fans, with comments such as:

- Suga is the only guy in the world who got the most marriage proposals ..he should be in the Guinness book of world record

- Yoongi have already world record about receiving most marriage proposals....ARMY Always Ready to Marry Yoongi

- Yoongi really attended Bruno Mars' concert without buying a ticket. That's legendary

- I seriously want to know what Bruno Mars was thinking when 'Yoongi marry me' suddenly popped up on his screen

- Well, Yoongi is THE worldwide husband for a reason. Dude himself asked armys to keep their forth finger empty and he asked them to bring the documents when this ‘Yoongi marry me’ sign started trending. He might regret that now but dude basically kick started the whole campaign

- I know he is gonna laugh about it in secret but we are gonna get scolded for doing that on another artists show. He is very strict with us like that and that just makes us do worse

- I was laughing and crying same time. People more creative than me hahaha

- So funny! The iconic ‘Yoongi marry me’ I wonder who the cheeky ARMY is, who didn’t ask Bruno to marry her!

- Ha ha ha!The iconic Yoongi, marry me is invading other concerts

- ARMYs really turned Bruno Mars' romantic dedication segment into a BTS proposal event. We truly have no shame... and I love it
