From cramped bedrooms with bunk beds to luxurious dorm apartments, BTS lived together for more than eight years since their trainee days. It wasn’t until the lease on their high-end dorm expired that the members decided to move out and purchase their own homes. At the time, Jimin, SUGA, Jin, and Jungkook were even quite confused and were the last ones to leave the dorm.

It comes as no surprise that the members began living independently, as they are all adults who need their own space. Moreover, their immensely successful careers and mαѕѕive wealth allow BTS to easily afford multi-million-dollar apartments, often purchased outright in a single payment. In fact, several members even own more than one property.

However, what recently excited fans even more than seeing these global superstars buy homes was SUGA’s revelation that he has become neighbors with two other BTS members—Jimin and RM.

Specifically, during a recent conversation with Epik High on the show EPIKASE, which featured both him and RM, the BTS rapper casually revealed that he and Jimin live next door to each other while discussing their close relationship. Tablo jokingly teased, “Did you make him live next door?” Even when SUGA laughed and denied it, saying, “No, no! I, I…!”, Tablo continued, “Did you maybe buy the house first and tell Jimin to move in?” SUGA then clarified, “I moved in later.”

Following this, fans recalled that in May 2023, кσяєαn media reported that SUGA moved to Nine One Hannam after previously purchasing a luxury villa in UN Village for 3.4 billion won in 2018 and spending some time living in Parc Hannam starting from November 2021. It turns out that the place SUGA moved into is actually an apartment right next to Jimin’s.

Interestingly, RM and Jimin have been known to be neighbors since 2021, and fans have even spotted them riding bicycles together near their residential area. Both RM and Jimin completed the purchase of their homes in this most expensive residential complex in Seoul around May and June 2021. RM bought a 293.93-square-meter apartment in the complex for approximately $5.7 million in cash, without taking out a loan. Meanwhile, Jimin purchased a similarly sized apartment in the same complex for about $5.3 million just one day after RM’s purchase.

The price difference between the two units is due to RM’s apartment having an additional terrace space. Both apartments feature three bedrooms, a main living room, a study, a lounge, a dining area, a kitchen, and an extra room. In terms of design, they are nearly identical as they are located within the same luxury complex. The development consists of nine buildings, each with five floors, offering an ideal height to enjoy scenic views of the surrounding mountains and the iconic Han River.

Now, SUGA has officially joined the “BTS neighbor squad” in Hannam. Likely due to similar preferences in location, apartment design, and amenities, all three members chose comparable residences—and most importantly, ones located close to each other, making it convenient to meet frequently. This revelation quickly took over social media, leaving fans more delighted than ever, commenting:

- I knew they lived in the same complex, but it was news to me that they're actually NEIGHBOURS.

- As if it wasn't enough to live in the same house for 7 years, these guys chose to be neighbours too. Jin is also 5min away from Yoongi
