IU and SUGA seem to have recently become the center of attention when once again collaborating in SUGA's new song. With this official solo debut, SUGA released the song "People pt.2" with IU as a pre-single and it really conquered the auďïệnce.
Just a few hours after the song was released, People pt.2 quickly reached the top 1 on iTunes charts in many countries. Along with that, SUGA and IU became the main topic that received much praise from the auďïệnce when this song continued to become a нιт after the previous collaboration.
However, besides the praise, SUGA also faced many negative comments from netizens and haters. In particular, during the broadcast of SUGA's recent radio show, he even directly read these negative comments and had a remarkable reaction to them:
Following the two individual mixtape "Agust D" and "D-2" released previously, SUGA plans to return to the music scene with his debut solo album this April called D-Day. The name of SUGA's solo album also becomes the official name for his world tour starting later this month.
Starting the long-awaited comeback is the opening song "People Pt.2" which was just released at 11 a.m. on April 7. Having conquered the auďïệnce through a series of нιт ballads, IU seems to be a more suitable choice for this emotional explosive collaboration.
In the new song with IU, there is no longer a strong SUGA image in “Daechwita”. People Pt.2 depicts the endless relationship between people, accompanied by self-questioning feelings such as whether to give up ambition, how to deal with loneliness...
Using R&B material as the main theme, “People Pt.2” is an extension of the single “People” that appeared in the second mixtape “D-2” released in 2020. Different from other sounds. Inspired by the typical rap/Hip Hop genre of the previous version, “People Pt.2” guides listeners to deep meloďïệs through IU's inspirational vocals throughout the track. The listener's emotional circuit is once again pushed to the climax through the warm voice of the BTS member.
It can be said that, after 3 years since SUGA and IU's collaboration in the hot song "eight", they still have a very good and outstanding collaboration. SUGA and IU are currently receiving a lot of love from the auďïệnce and many people also think that after eight, this song will continue to achieve remarkable success.
However, in addition to the love and support for SUGA's new song, there are some haters as well as toxic individuals who have made weird comments towards him. In particular, during SUGA's most recent live broadcast on Weverse Live, he had to face these negative comments directly.
Typically, when SUGA was reading fan comments during a radio broadcast as a radio DJ, he received several questions regarding IU's appearance in the collaboration. SUGA explained that he wanted to have her appear as a cameo in the MV, just like how SUGA mysteriously appeared in IU's MV eight but due to IU's busy schedule, she couldn't arrange to shoot and so the MV filming script changed.
Specifically, SUGA said: "We/I asked IU to appear in the m/v but she was too busy so it didn't work out. So we had to redo the script/plan".
However, after SUGA's share, some haters and toxic fans wrote comments criticizing that SUGA was using IU to gain popularity or that he was relying on IU's popularity to attract attention but could not afford/financial to invite IU to play MV...SUGA immediately responded to these negative comments saying: "If you're going to say 'Ah HYBE didn't spend any money', get out. Get out right now, they did. Because I spent it so I know".
In addition, in some other moments when he continued to be attacked by haters and toxic fans, SUGA candidly mentioned that these people were messing up his broadcast. After that, SUGA continued the program but still very politely and frankly invited these people out of his live broadcast.
SUGA said: "There might be people who are listening to these and saying "What do you even know about xx!". You are free to leave this live. If you're in my comments saying "How can he!" "This is-". GET OUT PLEASE. I absolutely won't tolerate that behaviour".
In response to SUGA's reaction, ARMYs are extremely upset because these people have brought negative thoughts to his broadcast and the fans. Meanwhile, many people praised SUGA for his frankness as well as his coolness as he chased away those breaking everyone's happy mood:
