If you remember, the three-night D-DAY: The Final held at KSPO Dome in Seoul on August 6 this year marked the end of his three-month solo world tour by SUGA. In most of the previous stages, SUGA had never shed tears of emotion, but when he performed the song Snooze on the last day, he cried very intensely.

By the time they saw SUGA's emotions overflow to the point where he couldn't sing, fans were as devastated as he was. But looking back, people wonder what made a strong person like SUGA who rarely shows emotions cry so painfully.

Although he had shared a little before, it was not until the latest episode of Suchwita with IU that SUGA fully shared his thoughts in that moment:

The latest episode of SUGA's Suchwita featuring ḳöŕệän singer and actress IU aired on December 26 on YouTube channel BANGTANTV. Fans have been waiting for the two stars to reunite on screen as the duo's friendship is famous throughout the fandom.

In the latest episode, SUGA and IU touched on various topics related to working together, their duet song "eight", their interests as artists, and more. They also talked about SUGA's tearful performance of the song Snooze during his 2023 D-DAY World Tour.

SUGA ever gave short explaination about his tears on his live broadcast after the concert that: "I really am not the type to cry, but starting from Snooze, I felt it. The members were there and my sunbaenims came too. Before, I had dreams while watching many sunbaenims and now I have become someone's sunbae. And those 10yrs flew past me. And that's when the tears came."

Now, he remembered the moment and told exactly what happened. On the last day of his solo world tour, SUGA revealed that although he doesn't often get emotional on stage, singing Snooze made him emotional. As recounted the incident to IU in the latest episode of Suchwita and said: "I don't like getting emotional when I perform but that day, it was just...It all spilled out. When I was rapping "Everything will be okay", those lyrics... and the mood...I had to keep playing... But I couldn't see because of my tears...I wish I could've cried looking more cool..."

And the reason made he burst into tears when performing Snooze on the last concert night is that the meaningful lyric of Snooze. He pointed out the meaning of the song make senses in the context of him playing the guitar signed by the 7 members during BTS's 10th anniversary. He expressed: "This year was our 10th anniversary. It's a song about what I want to say to younger artists, plus [Snooze(feat. Ryuichi Sakamoto, Kim Woosung of The Rose)] if I had heard soṃệẗḧing like this when I was younger, maybe I wouldn't have had such a hard time. "Snooze" is a song about both".

Snooze was originally SUGA's song for struggling artists. SUGA's purpose in composing this song was to give advice to idols who are struggling with difficult times as idols. It soothes the fears and comforts the heavy fluctuations in the souls of young idols, soṃệẗḧing SUGA searched for in the early years of his debut.

Meanwhile, he saw fellow group members Jin, RM and j-hope in the auďïệnce and he was overwhelming as he saw senior artists present in the auďïệnce as well. That makes the song even more impactful on his spirit and mood. Not only that, for the unversed, Snooze, a song that honors the late Ryuichi Sakamoto made Yoongi unable to hold back his tears. Despite his best efforts, he began crying at the song's ḧệäŕẗḅŕệäḳïńġ lyrics. 

This is clearly an iconic moment in his career and when SUGA explained, fans understood his heart even more. Immediately after this was broadcast, ARMYs left many emotional comments on SNS:
