On April 29, SUGA headed to a̾m̾e̾r̾i̾c̾a's 2nd city for his world tour. Although the weather at the performance venue did not seem to be favorable, the concert was still going on smoothly while waiting for the fans.
Most especially, SUGA's concert today also had the appearance of a special guest - Jimin. He came to enjoy and cheer for his brother's first solo concert after finishing his personal schedule in the US.
While fans were eager for Jimin's appearance at the concert, SUGA seemed to be sulking at this a bit. Below is the lovely moment that fans captured when both Jimin and SUGA were present in Newark:
On April 29, SUGA's solo tour continued with a stop in Newark at the Prudential Center. Here, tens of thousands of fans were present hours ago to line up to enter the stadium under the cold weather and heavy rain.
Even so, it hasn't dampened their enthusiasm for SUGA. Before that, SUGA had two very successful opening concerts at UBS Arena, Belmont Park and attracted worldwide attention.
Meanwhile, Jimin was also in New York at the same time SUGA held that concert. However, he was unable to attend his brother's concert due to his work schedule with Tiffany&Co. - high-fashion brand for which Jimin has just been announced as a global ambαѕѕador. Both Jimin and SUGA have made New York even busier and busier these days.
Fans are also waiting for the two's reunion moment as many believe that Jimin will definitely come and support one of SUGA's concerts in the US as he has yet to return to ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾a after the opening of their store. Tiffany&Co. And of course, that happened during SUGA's performance in Newark today.
Fans present at SUGA's concert said that right before the concert, Jimin got out of the car with his bodyguards and went inside by a private entrance. He's wearing a simple outfit including SUGA/Agust D D-Day concert's merch with a black bucket, he looks really cute.
Meanwhile, there was a moment where fans couldn't stop screaming at the adorable interaction between brothers SUGA and Jimin. That's when SUGA introduced Jimin's appearance at today's concert. He knew that his younger brother had come and proudly talked about Jimin in front of tens of thousands of fans.
Then, of course, ARMYs couldn't stop screaming and getting excited about his appearance in the auďïệnce seats. Flashes of lights and cell phones turned on were all directed at Jimin.
However, shortly after that, SUGA "seriously calmed down" the fans when he saw that they focused their attention on Jimin too much. He thought that fans can't ignore him and focus on Jimin because it's his solo concert.
SUGA said after realizing the situation: "Thank you Jimin~ Hold on hold on hold on, focus on me! This is my concert! OK? Focus on me, please, please!"
He seems to have sulked a bit towards his little brother in a very endearing way. But sorry to him that because both are precious to ARMYs, no one wants to miss any moment of both superstars.
