STATIONHEAD Causes Outrage When Removing Jimin From Group Photos

For ARMYs, the 7 members of BTS are equally precious. Therefore, in any case where one member is мιѕѕιиg, fans cannot accept it and consider it disrespectful.

That is why the STATIONHEAD app faced the wrath of ARMYs after removing Jimin from the group photo. This is not the first time that STATIONHEAD has shown its irresponsibility in using images of K-pop idols.

Fans are now expressing their anger at the app's actions while its response has only added fuel to the fire:

The STATIONHEAD app has been especially popular among K-Pop fans in recent years. Users can connect their Apple Music or Spotify accounts to play their favorite music in a public setting, while helping the artist's chart.

Similarly, artists, especially K-pop idols, also frequently use the app whenever they release new music. By hosting live streaming parties with fans through STATIONHEAD, K-pop idols have many opportunities to interact with their fans around the world. Most of the BTS members have also used the app when promoting their solo albums.

However, STATIONHEAD has disappointed ARMY with their recent unprofessional actions. Specifically, STATIONHEAD's official X account (formerly Twitter) shared a post asking followers which artists they are streaming for the new year. The post contained a collage of images, including square images of the artists.

While most of the photos are individual photos of the artists, the BTS image included in the post is a group photo. But the thing to note here is that they removed Jimin’s image from the original photo, which was originally a seven-member photo. Many ARMYs were offended by the cutout of Jimin’s image, emphasizing that BTS has seven members, not six.

After that, the hashtags “BTS IS SEVEN,” “RESPECT JIMIN,” and “APOLOGIZE TO JIMIN” became trending keywords on X. ARMYs also asked STATIONHEAD to fix their mistake.

BTS was not the only one to face this problem, but boy group Stray Kids also faced a similar situation in the same post. Stray Kids’ Han was not in their group photo. Similar to ARMYs, STAYs felt that it was inappropriate for STATIONHEAD to choose a photo to represent Stray Kids without all eight members.

While fans were outraged by this action and asked for STATIONHEAD’s official response, the app deleted the post without any apology. This action of the application made netizens feel even more uncomfortable, some even called for a boycott:

- BTS is 7, not 6. Posting a photo with one member мιѕѕιиg is very disrespectful. If you’re going to post about BTS, you better include ALL of them!

- @STATIONHEAD the BTS photo used is not a full member photo and excluding Jimin is a form of insult. Please delete the post and change the photo now!

- the BTS photo used is not a full member photo and excluding Jimin is a form of insult. Please respect Jimin and the other members, there are lots of photos of the seven that you can use. change the photo now

- As people pointed out, the BTS picture excludes the group member Jimin. But also the Stray Kids pictures excludes the group Member Han (during this photo he was absent but there are so many other shoots). Please do better and research the artists (and always count the heads

- Why would you use a picture without Han for SKZ !??

- BOYCOTT STATIONHEAD

- this is disrespectful to exclude a member from a group & mind you posting the post where jimin is excluded. Always know that BTS IS SEVEN RM+JIN+SUGA+JHOPE+JIMIN+V+JUNGKOOK=BTS

- they better give a proper apology before fans boycott this unprofessional app
