SOPA's Students Shared The Unsafe Situation Due To JungKook's Amazing Influence During The Graduation Ceremony

Jungkook is currently one of the most popular K-pop superstars. Therefore, whenever he appears publicly anywhere, it is understandable to attract everyone's attention.

However, many times it causes dangerous situations for those around. Even his private events were affected, such as his graduation ceremony. Here is a story about Jungkook's memorable graduation!

To all ARMYs, we are all familiar with the School Of Performing Arts (SOPA). This is the high school that Jungkook attended and BTS went to both his admission and graduation ceremony here.

The School Of Performing Arts (SOPA) in Seoul is Korea's premier private arts school. Seoul High School of the Performing Arts, SOPA for short, has contributed to the Korean entertainment industry many talented celebs.

Established in 1966 and located at 147-1 Gungdong, Gurogu, Seoul, SOPA is the leader in recruiting and training future idols. Unlike other high schools, SOPA still has cultural courses, but most of the time students will learn about the arts, as well as the practical skills.

SOPA is the place to train many Kpop idols such as Kai (EXO), Sehun (EXO), Umji (Gfriend), SinB (Gfriend), Suzy, Minhyun (NU'EST) ... As well as other idols, since Jungkook was a student at the school, he had a lot of fans so whenever he appeared at school, the corridors are packed and cause congestion.

In a recently published video, one of Jungkook's schoolmates and a junior named Choi Hyejeong, shared an incident that happened during his graduation. They described how other students protected his privacy.

Specifically, in Jungkook's graduation ceremony was also the time when BTS started to become the most famous group in Kpop. Therefore, his graduation ceremony attracted the attention of many reporters and fans. All entrances and exits were too crowded for smooth moves. It is also difficult for Jungkook to walk while the situation was chaotic and very unsafe for an idol.

So SOPA students and teachers quickly took action and started lining up to protect the K-pop star. Hyejeong shared that she linked hands with two complete strangers to block fans from entering the aisle and keep Jungkook safe. Finally, one of the teachers grabbed Jungkook's arm and guided him through the crowd to the destination. The human barrier had to continue for much of the graduation ceremony for the graduates to sit still and keep Jungkook safe.

His schoolmate also shared that many fansite masternim (the term used to refer to fans who specialize in taking pictures of idols) would put their giant cameras on students' shoulders to get good pictures. This was frustrating for the students attending the graduation ceremony. Furthermore, Jungkook's private photos were also leaked. Some fansite masternim even unconsciously caused the ceremony to become disorderly.

He then revealed that to protect Jungkook's privacy, SOPA students would use their thumbs to swipe through the lens. This wiould create a fingerprint, preventing the masternim fansites from easily getting a clear picture. Therefore, Jungkook's private pictures were also limited to being taken.

It's a relief that Jungkook's schoolmates were so willing to help Jungkook with his SOPA graduation to make it a good memory for the golden maknae. Through this, many ARMYs also noticed that it is also important to keep BTS events private!
