Recently, V once again ѕнσ¢кed fans and the media when it was reported that he had purchased a luxury home in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, for 14.2 billion KRW.
According to the real estate registry on the 24th, V purchased PH129 (The Penthouse Cheongdam) with an exclusive area of 273.96㎡ for 14.2 billion KRW on the 17th of this month. The home includes five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Considering that there was no separate mortgage recorded, it appears he bought it entirely in cash without a loan.
The initial sales contract was signed in early May. He officially took ownership from the developer on the 17th, once the balance had been fully paid.
The PH129 building is a high-end apartment complex completed in August 2020, consisting of a total of 29 households, spanning from six underground floors to 20 above-ground floors. All the apartments were built in a duplex style. It was originally named The Penthouse Cheongdam but later renamed PH129 to reflect its location at 129 Cheongdam-dong.
The residence is known to house many celebrities, including actors Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young, golfer Park In-bee, and famous trainer Hyun Woo-jin.
As of now, кσяєαn media has not determined V’s specific purpose in purchasing such a spacious and luxurious apartment. Some speculate that it might be a gift for his parents or family, while others believe it could be an investment property, since he already owns another penthouse at SK Apelbaum in Gangnam, which he bought for about 5 billion KRW in 2019.
That apartment has been fully decorated by V and has served as his residence since around 2020. Many of V’s photos and live broadcasts with fans have taken place in this home, showing that it offers a Han River view, modern décor with various lights and greenery, a bright color palette combining wнιтe, beige, black, and gray, and numerous expensive imported furnishings.
