On the 28th (local time), BTS successfully wrapped up the opening leg of their “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN NORTH AMERICA” at Raymond James Stadium. Although this marked their return to performing in the United States after about four years, all three nights sold out quickly, drawing a total of over 190,000 attendees and proving that the group’s global appeal remains as strong as ever.
When the opening notes of “Hooligan” rang out, followed by “MIC Drop,” “FAKE LOVE,” “NORMAL,” and more, the entire stadium transformed into a mαѕѕive choir. In particular, during “Body to Body,” the inclusion of the кσяєαn folk song “Arirang” created a proud and emotional moment as tens of thousands of fans from different countries sang along together.
The group is also expected to generate an economic impact of $800–900 million for the Tampa Bay area through ticket sales, merchandise, food, and hotels. Downtown hotels were fully booked, with room rates soaring to as much as $1,500 per night, while sales of кσяєαn food and cosmetics also saw a significant surge.

Among the many lasting impressions BTS left in Tampa, one moment in particular has been widely talked about—a moment where the sincerity and friendliness of these K-pop superstars shone the brightest: when Jimin hugged a security guard during the final night. At that time, even while fully immersed in performing “Body to Body,” he ran to the edge of the stage where a Black security guard was standing by the barricade and threw an arm around him, leaving the staff member visibly stunned.
The security guard later reshared a video recorded by a fan, along with the caption: “One of the many perks of working at my job. The energy was αωєsome.”
Under his post, many fans congratulated him for having such a once-in-a-lifetime moment, while others “interviewed” him about how he felt after interacting with a BTS superstar. When one person asked, “How does it feel to live our dream?”, he replied briefly yet emotionally: “Fascinating.”
Another fan asked, “What did he say to you?!”, and he shared: “He said what’s up. I said good and I asked if he wanted me to open up the barricade for him,” showing how approachable Jimin was and how naturally he blended into the local language.

What stands out is that even as a global superstar performing in a mαѕѕive stadium filled with tens of thousands of people, Jimin still took the time to acknowledge and connect with the staff working behind the scenes to ensure the concert ran smoothly. His actions broke down barriers, reflecting a humility and warmth that are deeply ingrained in his character, as well as boundless gratitude and respect.
Meanwhile, the security guard didn’t just receive a hug from Jimin—he was also lucky enough to get an enthusiastic bro-like high-five from V afterward. From another angle, fans also spotted a bright, meaningful eye contact exchange between Jungkook and a different security staff member. Through these moments, netizens and fans alike have come to understand why their concerts consistently receive such overwhelming enthusiasm and success—the experience feels complete and meaningful for everyone involved.
The behind-the-scenes sharing from this fortunate security guard is now rapidly spreading across social media, drawing an outpouring of positive reactions:
