Most fans of BTS in general and Jungkook in particular know that he hasn't used his Instagram account for several months now. However, recently this has led to some negative actions by others taking advantage of Jungkook's reputation.

Jungkook shared the reason that he didn't use this account much so he felt it was unnecessary and deleted it. He also insists that he won't use the app again in the future and will interact with fans with Weverse Live broadcasts because he prefers that.

From then on, Jungkook started live broadcasts that excited fans even though he regretted that he deleted his account. However, not long after Jungkook deleted his Instagram account, someone impersonated Jungkook and created an account similar to his before.

This guy used Jungkook's account to attract the attention of people who didn't know that he deleted Instagram. Not only that, this fake account also publishes images and articles for the purpose of selling fake merchs.

This makes fans extremely uncomfortable and worried that it will affect Jungkook's honor and reputation in the future. However, this story does not stop there, but today, SBS News even made a big mistake when spreading this fake account on their own important news. Specifically, in the news that Jimin had excellently won No.1 Billboard Hot 100 with Like Crazy, SBS posted some screenshots of the wishes that BTS members sent to him.

This wouldn't be worth mentioning if it weren't for the photo of the fake Jungkook account with the congratulatory message to Jimin this morning (KST). This act of SBS unwittingly abets the promotion of this fake account and makes the case even more serious.

Some ARMYs consider this to be an unacceptable error of a news update with the latest information. Jungkook's failure to use his Instagram account has been reported by the ḳöŕệän press all this time and so SBS continues to make the mistake of posting photos of the fake account, which is irresponsible and professional.

SBS News is receiving many complaints from fans because of this news:
