BTS and RM are meeting fans around the world through the “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’.” SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles is the final stop of their North αмєяι¢αn leg, with four shows scheduled to take place and around 70,000 fans expected each night. The first two shows ended successfully, and their lingering excitement is still in the air, building momentum for an even more explosive atmosphere at the final two consecutive shows.

After a few days of rest, when they returned for the second night, leader RM — fully “recharged” — delivered a fiery performance that brought the atmosphere to life like never before. Many fans also commented that RM’s stage presence has become much more mature and “cool” compared to before. In particular, during the North αмєяι¢αn concerts, he has clearly been a fan of sleeveless tank tops that show off his shoulders and muscular arms, driving fans wild. Some even jokingly called it his mature “bad boy” look.

What makes it even more interesting is that this style of shirt has also unintentionally become a “helper” in making RM’s new mini tattoos easier to spot. And during LA Day 3, ARMYs noticed another detail that immediately sent social media into a frenzy: RM has a sixth tattoo!

Through photos and videos taken at the concert, fans could easily spot a cursive word on RM’s right wrist, just underneath his chain bracelet. Although the angle and quality of the images make it impossible to confirm the word completely, many fans believe that it looks very much like “lover” or “loves.”

It is just one short word, yet it was enough to excite ARMYs while also leaving many of them genuinely surprised, as they never expected an idol to tattoo a word like this. After all, as a public figure, there is often an unspoken expectation that idols should not openly dwell on their “personal desires,” especially when it comes to matters related to love and romantic relationships, which have always been sensitive topics.

And yet RM did not just think about it — he actually tattooed the word onto his hand. Looking back, fans feel that this is simply very much in line with RM’s personality and the way he sees the world. And the tattoo he chose has never had just one simple meaning.

First of all, “love” can naturally be understood as his desire to be loved and to have a romantic love of his own. But in a broader sense, it can also represent his love for music, art, nature, people, and BTS-ARMY. RM has repeatedly expressed a deeper philosophy about “love” through his words and music.

Notably, in his solo song “Trivia: Love” from the Love Yourself: Answer album, RM once explained the importance of love through a play on the two кσяєαn words “saram” (person/human) and “sarang” (love). He used the connection between the two words to describe how love smooths out the sharp edges of a person — 사람 — and transforms them into a more complete, rounded form — 사랑. RM’s sixth tattoo can be seen both as an expression of a personal desire and as a reminder of the human side of himself.

Fans also remembered the five tattoos that had been revealed before this one, including the number 7 friendship tattoo he shares with the BTS members; the natural sign - symbolizing returning to one’s true self and regaining balance; the treble clef - αѕѕociated with music, rhythm, and harmony, clearly reflecting the artistic identity of BTS’s leader; the “Namu” tattoo - representing his love of nature and his slow-paced lifestyle; and “a human” on the inside of his upper arm - representing his acceptance of imperfection and his desire to return to his authentic self, while never stopping his efforts to strive, create, and appreciate life.

Together with this sixth tattoo, RM once again shows that he is both very realistic and deeply romantic, as well as remarkably honest and sincere. The tattoos on his body clearly reflect his personality, his life, and the things he is deeply attached to — each one chosen with great thought and meaning. It is precisely this depth behind his choices that makes fans admire him even more.
