On November 13, RM held a short, surprise live broadcast for ARMYs. He was seen in his usual casual outfit, wearing a baseball cap — his signature look — while sitting in what appeared to be a company studio.

The leader said, “I turned it on for a bit before I go to exercise. Even if I speak in кσяєαn, you can understand, right? It’s being translated well? The only place I can turn this on right now is the studio. I just wanted to say hello. I had a bit of time. The management team hyungs are outside.”

RM also shared a bit about what he’s been up to lately: “I’m trying things I haven’t done before. I’m working on music and preparing the album" while reminding fans, “Please be happy and healthy, and I hope everything you’re doing goes well.”

The highlight of the live broadcast came when RM seemed to subtly refer to the recent controversies surrounding BTS members that have been unsettling the fandom. He said: "Guys, regardless with the things that happened through out the years, like let's just stay focus just between you & us. All the things we've done was between BTS & ARMY. There are too many things going around out there but I just want you not to pay attention,just on this album & the things we gonna do next year like with you guys."

Fans believe RM was indirectly addressing the wave of hate and malicious comments targeting BTS members since their recent comeback. RM himself has been unfairly criticized — from his speech at the APEC CEO Forum 2025 to being mocked by a crowd of locals in Indonesia over his appearance.

It’s clear that the leader has been aware of the situation and wanted to comfort fans who have been tirelessly defending the group online and pushing back against the wave of hate. RM encouraged fans to stay away from fan wars and remain positive. Rather than being affected by negativity, he urged them to focus on the exciting news about the members — especially the much-anticipated return of BTS as seven.
