He even stated that if he kept playing In The Seom, he wouldn't be able to release a solo album. RM regretfully said: "I might not be able to release an album while playing in the seom"

That's probably why he can't turn it on and play because he needs to compose music. It's unbelievable how a game can affect a songwriting genius like RM to such an extent. unable to produce a new album.
