These days, the enlistment of BTS members is more of a concern than ever. In particular, j-hope seems to be preparing to enlist in the next few days and it makes ARMYs feel sorry for having to part with him for a long time.
Not only j-hope, RM today even revealed his intentions about doing his m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ service and it surprised ARMYs even more by their decision. But anyway, after that, he gave ARMYs a sigh of relief because at least he's not leaving anytime soon.
However, if you missed RM's broadcast this afternoon, check out his enlistment plans below:
On April 1, RM üńệẍṗệċẗệďly went live on Weverse for a short chat with fans. This live broadcast comes after he hasn't talked to fans for a long time.
Despite being very busy with his current job, RM was able to update ARMYs on his current situation in a short time. He even gives an update on his whereabouts these days.
RM mentioned that he is working tirelessly on his new music, being at the studio five days a week. In fact, he shared that he turned on live while working in his studio because he wanted to meet ARMYs for a bit before going back to work.
When some fans asked him not to work too hard, he explained that the reason he worked so hard was to complete his projects before enlisting. Not too surprised by this revelation of RM because he also mentioned before that there will be a music project that he will send to fans after Indigo.
When a commenter asked him when fans can expect to hear his new songs, RM was completely honest and shared that they probably won't be released this year. He shared: "When will (the music) come out? Maybe next year or when I'm gone? I don't think it'll come out this year".
He then added that when his new music comes out next year he probably won't make it in time because he's already enlisted in the army. It seems that RM is racing against time to keep up with his enlistment even though there is about a year left until his enlistment is due.
Not only that, RM also revealed that he had intended to enlist with j-hope after the release of Indigo but because the current project came, he pushed back to finish it first before enlisting. So, after completing the work, he will perform his mandatory obligation.
He shared: "Originally I planned to go around the same time as Hobi but the current project came up, I pushed it further so I'll go as soon as this current project/music is done".
RM also mentioned his desire to hold a concert before leaving, and the chances of that actually happening are very low as he is currently working on a lot of projects. He said: "I'd like to do a concert before I go, but I don't think it'll be able to come out before I go, because there's so much I'm working on". But ARMYs are also aware that he looks very busy, tired and stressful during these hectic working days.
The news of j-hope's enlistment was still a wound when RM mentioned that he would be leaving soon too. But it's also fortunate that some projects have come to RM so he can stay a little longer and the members leave one by one instead of going all at once.
Although ARMYs are sad about the possibility of having to say goodbye to RM soon, they are trying to stay positive, looking forward to their reunion in 2025:
- Oh please perform at least one more time somehow…I really miss seeing and hearing Joon on stage. He really wants to have one but he’s so hard at work with music/other projects and he’s not sure when his new music will come out. This just makes me sad.
- He has so much on in plate. Please let's support his projects. Show him more love.
- I’m so sad about the concert but also so excited about the project he’s working on…
- so you telling me namjoon is next to enlist after hobi
- THE SOONER THEY GO THE SOONER THEYLL RETURN THE SOONER THEY GO THE SOONER THEYLL RETURN THE SOONER THEY GO THE SOONER THEYLL RETURN
- Ngl… I would have loved for him to go in sooner so he can get back sooner too!
- we’re getting jinnie and hobi back next year at least
- Imagine we are left by two members at one time.
- Thanks GOD for him still being here. I don't want to see the two go in once, yk, double ȟɥȑț
